Last night I had my ps5 in sleep mode (so solid orange) while I was watching tv. I noticed it started flashing orange, and figured it found an update. Only after a few minutes, it then powered off. I grabbed the controller, but the controller wouldn’t power it on. I then hit the power button on the front of the ps5, and it beeped once, but still wouldn’t power on. I gave it another minute and hit the power button again, and the console powered on, with no errors (IE no warnings about lost power, or that it wasn’t shut down correctly). I did, however, find error CE-112839-4 in the system events, which I don’t find any info about online.
I put the ps5 back into sleep mode, and this morning it was powered off again.
I know folks have mentioned issues with sleep mode, but I’ve had my ps5 since US launch and it’s issues with sleep mode just started yesterday (no issues in the previous weeks).
