Convergence mod error: fdp_system_message(401208), save is corrupted. Any solution?
Hi friends. I’m trying to install and run the new Convergence mod for DS3 and something isn’t working right. When I load the game I get the convergence home screen, but the game tries and fails to connect to the network, giving me first the «fdp_system_message(401208)» error followed by «Failed to save game. Save data is corrupted.»
I have uninstalled and reinstalled DS3, deleted all old save files, deleted any file with the word «mod» in it, then used the «verify integrity» function on steam to get what I think is a completely stock version of the game. However, I still get this string of error messages when I add the files for Convergence mod and try to run it.
Any idea what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help.

here is how to get it to work.
Step one: let game update in steam
step two: reinstall mod
step three: replace DarkSouls111.exe with one from previous update, i got one from the extremely awesome folks over at the convergence discord, link here:

then game should run fine
Edit: apparently this is working for some people, however i am getting a infinite loading screen after trying to load character, or after clicking finalize character when creating a new one
