If you are wondering how to fix the Forzathon Shop in Forza Horizon 5, you are not alone. Tons of other players are encountering issues preventing them from accessing the shop in the game.
There’s no way to fix the shop client-side because it’s not active and open in the game. The developers themselves stated the following on their official website for the game:
«The Forzathon Shop is currently not open, please keep an eye on our social channels for when this is available.»

Because of this, players who want to use the Forzathon Shop will need to wait to do so. Eventually, the developers will open the shop and will announce that they are opening the shop via Forza’s social media accounts.

So if you want to know when the shop feature releases, we recommend keeping an eye on the official Twitter account any other social media for the game.
That said, when the Forzathon Shop gets released, players will be able to use it as normal and purchase many in-game items with points earned in the game.

Forzathon shop is the place where you can get your cars and other items. But as of now, the shop doesn’t work, not just for some players but for everyone. So in this guide let us take a look at whether a fix is available and how to fix the Forzathon shop not working in Forza Horizon 5 (FH5).
How to fix Forzathon Shop not working in Forza Horizon 5
As of now, there is no way to fix the Forzathon shop in Forza Horizon 5. And that is because Playground games are aware of this bug and are already working on possible fixes. If you try to browse the Forzathon shop you get the following error message “Failed to download shop items. Please try again later.”. They have acknowledged this bug and when a fix will be out you can find it on their social channels. So the only way you can fix this bug is by updating your game when the game releases an update with this issue resolved.
Because of this issue, you cannot purchase anything from the Shop. At least not just yet, once the developers fix this issue you should be good to go. How to get Forzathon points
The way you can earn Forzathon points is by doing challenges. There are two types of challenges in Forza Horizon 5. The first is the daily challenges, and the second is the weekly challenges. When you complete them you get Forzathon points. Daily challenges are a bit laxer and you should be able to complete them easily. And weekly challenges are a bit tougher, but when you complete them you get significantly more points.
