Mcclauncher exe halo ошибка

(HELP)(Fitgirl-Repacks) MCCLauncher.exe required

I recently installed the fitgirlrepacks version of Halo:Reach as a part of the Halo Master Chief Collection and after installation, it said the MCCLauncher was missing and my mind ignored it and deleted the install files. Does anyone have the fitgirlrepacks MCCLauncher.exe file or any version of it. Alternatively, does anyone have advice other than re-install the game?

Edit: It has been solved, it was a deactivated Windows Defender identifying the exe as a trojan.

Many players have posted on support forums about an Invalid game executable error.

That issue is widely reported for games with Easy Anti-Cheat, such as Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

When some players try to launch the game, a Launch Error Invalid game executable error message pops up.

How can I fix the Invalid game executable error for Halo: MCC?

1. Run the game with administrator privileges

  1. First, open File Explorer’s window by clicking its folder taskbar button.
  2. Then open the game folder that includes the Halo: Master Chief EXE file.
  3. Right-click the Halo: Master Chief Collection EXE and select Properties.
  4. Then select the Compatibility tab shown directly below.
Compatibility tab halo mcc error invalid game executable
  5. Select the Run this program as an administrator checkbox.
  6. Select the Apply option.
  7. Click OK to exit.

Note: Players who play Halo: Master Chief via Steam should also run Steam as an administrator. Check out our guide to running Steam as an administrator for further details.

2. Disable Easy Anti Cheat

Open the Master Chief Collection page in your Steam or Xbox app game library and select Play.

A small window pop-up will then open that includes two options. Select the Play Halo: MCC Anti-Cheat disabled option in Steam or Halo: MMC Anti-Cheat Disabled setting in the Xbox app.

The MCC Anti-Cheat Disabled option halo mcc error invalid game executable

Note: You might not be able to play Halo: MMC online with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled. However, Halo might at least start for you to play it single player with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled.

3. Repair Easy Anti-Cheat

  1. Open your Halo: Master Chief Collection folder in File Explorer.
  2. Open the easy anti cheat subfolder within the Halo: Master Chief Collection folder.

  5. Thereafter, restart Windows before reinstalling Halo: MCC.
  6. Then reinstall your Halo: MCC game via Steam or MS Store.

Some PC issues are hard to tackle, especially when it comes to missing or corrupted system files and repositories of your Windows.
Be sure to use a dedicated tool, such as Fortect, which will scan and replace your broken files with their fresh versions from its repository.

You can also uninstall Halo: MCC with third-party uninstaller software, some of which will more thoroughly erase leftover files, folders, and registry entries.

5. Verify the integrity of game files (Steam fix)

  1. First, open the Steam client software.
  2. Click Library in Steam.
  3. Right-click Halo: Master Chief Collection to select the Properties option for it.

  5. You can also click Reset to clear Halo’s data. However, try the Repair option first.

  1. Click the Windows Security system tray icon.
  2. Click the shield button on the Windows Security sidebar.
shield button halo mcc error invalid game executable
  3. Then click Manage Settings to open the options in the snapshot directly below.
The Real-time protection setting halo mcc error invalid game executable
  4. Toggle the Real-time protection option off.

To disable third-party antivirus software, you’ll need to right-click the antivirus utility’s system tray icon to open a context menu for it.

Then you can usually select some kind of disable option on most antivirus utilities’ context menus. Select to disable the antivirus shield for about an hour if you can.

Note: If disabling antivirus software fixes the issue, it’s most likely that its shield is incorrectly flagging Easy Anti-Cheat or Halo: The Master Chief Collection. In which case, you can add Easy Anti Cheat or Halo: MCC to your antivirus utility’s white list to stop the false positive flagging.

8. Update Windows 10

  1. Open the Settings app (press the Windows + I hotkey).
  2. Click Update & Security to open the options in the shot directly below.
The Check for updates option halo mcc error invalid game executable
  3. Press the Check for updates button to download and install available patch updates.
  4. If a feature update is available, click Download and Install to update Windows 10 to its latest build version.

Players have confirmed some of the fixes above can resolve the Invalid game executable error for Halo: The Master Chief Collection and other games.

However, players who still need further potential fixes can submit a support ticket at the Halo Support website.

MCCLauncher not launching game

  • Corenappa posted on Oct 21, 2020 12:16:19 AM — Report post

I just recently downloaded the trainer for Halo 3: ODST and tried to launch the mcclauncher that came with it to bypass the anticheat. However, when I tried to open the exe file, nothing happened. I don’t recall having this issue when I was playing Halo 3 with it a few months ago, but now it’s refusing to work. Did I need to place the launcher in a specific file before launching it?

Put it in the same directory as the original launcher (re-name original first)

Ah, sorry, I should have been more specific with my post. I’m playing this through Game Pass, not Steam. I’m honestly not sure where Game Pass installs the games to, but should I try putting it where ever the Game Pass file is?

The readme.txt included will tell you how to use the trainer for Gamepass.

If you want to use the trainer, follow these steps to launch the game!

For Window Store or XBOX Pass, launch the game using the included shortcut (says «Launch Xbox Pass Halo Reach CH».

Once the game starts, you can then attach the trainer to it.

Be sure to fully extract it, don’t leave it as a .rar file

The launcher must be added to your security software exclusion list. If it was not it has already been flagged and it won’t let it run. You now have to clear your quarantine folder, restore the .exe and or allow it to run via security settings. Personally I just added this to my exclusion list so all steam games are covered that need a launcher.

I have replaced the MCC launcher as discribed in the readme file.
made in settings the path to the game i.e. C:SteamLibrarysteamappscommonHalo The Master Chief Collection Started the cheat, start game trough Steam, alt tab to cheat, press F1, heard wait, and then failed. so cheat is not loading, what did i do wrong? all other cheats work fine, i.e. Borderlands trough Epic launcher or thombraider trough steam.

Each game has it’s own trainer, you need to DL the correct on for the game you want to play, select that game in the menu first then activate the trainer once you have loaded into said game.

I have been thinking of modding Halo MCC but now that I started, I keep running into an issue when trying to launch the game through Vortex. The Error message is this:

«

Vortex needs to access a file that is write protected.

When you configure directories and access rights you need to ensure Vortex can still access data directories.

This is usually not a bug in Vortex.

Details:

executable: D:Program FilesModifiableWindowsAppsHaloMCCmcclauncher.exe

I have turned off Read Only for the mcclauncher.exe, and given Vortex writing permission, as well as opened it in Admin. No clue what to do.

Also, I don’t know if this is worth mentioning but the version I use is from the XBOX Windows 10 app, not Steam.

Have you enabled modding inside the Xbox app?

You may also need to run MCC at least once after booting your PC for Windows to allow Vortex to access the folder.

MCC on PC: Black Screen after starting a campaign

I’ve installed the Halo Master Chief Collection (MCC) via XBOX App on my Windows 10 PC.
Whenever I start any campaign the screen turns black but audio stays. I have to close the game via task manager.

    I tried reinstall.
    I tried verifying game files.

    I tried deleting app data.

Alt+Enter to change between Fullscreen Mode and windowed mode doesn’t work too.
My graphis cards drivers are up to date.

I tried to launch the mcclauncher.exe directly with admin rights but that doesn’t work.
I have some warnings in the windows eventmanager for the XBOX App regarding permissions for the user I’m logged in with though.
But I can’t change permissions of the mcclauncher.exe even with the admin login.

Playing with the admin login is no option because there is a reason I have different logins.

    How to fix this issue?

    Edit: Halo: Infinite works fine

    :)

No I didn’t but I forgot to mention, that I can play Halo: Infinite without any problems.

  3. MCC on PC: Black Screen after starting a campaign

    EAC did this.

After a sfc /scannow some files got repaired and now it works.

  4. MCC on PC: Black Screen after starting a campaign

Did you register on halowaypoint.com ?

HALO games are dependent on waypoint

  5. Why is Black OPS….

He is what happened. I put Black OPS into my 360. Started up like it always does. Before it got to the screen to select «Campaign, Multiplayer» I got the «Disconnected from Xbox Live». Then the download screen came up and said «Please wait while update is
    applied»

After which Black OPS goes directly to the multiplayer screen. Now if I try playing Black OPS or go back to the Dashboard. I get disconnected from Xbox Live.

  6. black screen after start screen

fixed it, it was old save. can a mod please delete this thread now.
