I bought Mirrors Edge Catalyst on April the 7th and after playing through the game and arriving at the part where faith get let out of the prison my game runs fine but after a while the game crashes saying that my video driver has been physically removed from the system or a driver upgrade has occurred.
I have tried to reinstall the game, and reinstall the drivers but none of it worked.

- Ensure you have power supply capable of meeting the demands of your hardware while it is under heavy gaming load
- Set all in game graphics settings to low in order to reduce the stress on your GPU.
- Set the high performance preset in your GPU control panel, as opposed to the high quality preset.
- Run your video card at stock speeds (memory and core). This is also important for players with factory overclocked cards. This will require some third party software such as EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner etc.

Have you tried playing any other games to see if the same issue occurs? If so then it would be related to your graphics card for sure.
Just to be on the safe side make sure your GPU is connected properly along with cables etc and you could also try reinstalling previous graphics card drivers: https://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk

Anyone else getting this error message when starting up the game?

I’ve been trying everything to get it to work, but I can’t even get to the menu to adjust settings.

Решил проблему следующим образом: открыл панель управления Nvidia, в разделе «управление параметрами 3D» добавил игру, выбрал для нее высокопроизводительный процессор, а потом в окошке с настройками, где написано «укажите настройки для этой программы» выключил все, что мог и поставил на минимум ( сглаживание, синхронизацию и т.д.) вообще все, что можно было выключил. После этого игра перестала выдавать данную ошибку.

У меня тоже самое, уже пробовал переустановить и менял совместимость до винды 7 (В первой части была ошибка с запуском, менял на совместимость с ХП и помогало, надеялся на чудо, но не вышло), также запускал от Имени Адм., но ничего не помогло. У моего друга всё запустилось и работает, хар-ки его компа не знаю, но знаю что карта Radeon, какая серия понятия не имею. Остается ждать фикса или решения проблемы.

Я знаю в чем проблема. Если у вашего компа мало оперативки, то игра будет постоянно крашиться, надо снизить настройки игры до минимума, а если и тогда будет крашиться, то значит у вас комп, увы, не потянет эту игру.

Ну наконец-то исправили проблему с запуском на процах феномах и core 2 quard игра пошла триальная версия по подписке в origin access, пока полёт нормальный:))))

Запустил, дали управление, полез настраивать графику, с низких поставил на среднее, вылетела и теперь при запуске появляется заставка, начинается загрузка и вылетает.
ЗЫ Удалил настройки профиля в c:UsersВаше имяDocumentsMirrors Edge Catalystsettings и игра запустилась. Если в настройках графике выбрать ручную настройку каждого параметра то вылет, если использовать общие схемы типа «среднее», «высокое» и тд то все ок. Может кому поможет)

Ребята помогите! после переустановки винды игра доходит до белого экрана а потом прекращена работа программы( на старой винде игра запускалась! может есть патч какой от этого! дрова обновил, библиотеки поставил плюс директ тоже новый

у кого продлемы с дровами вылазит (на ноуте), попробуйте переключить на другую видюху, мне помогло

Всем привет друзья!)) Знаю что о данной статье уже глупо писать, так как игра вышла давно, и многие уже решили проблему)
прочитав все выше комменты, И я так понял что и половину людей не понимают о чем говорят, Да на AMD и будут такие проблемы, Но они решаются легко, И так- Для начало отключаете гипертрейдинг в биосе, запускаетесь, нажатием на WIN+R открываете консоль и пишете Msconfig, далее меню загрузки Windows Дополнительные параметры загрузки и ставите 2 ядра, Напоминаю это для тех у кого более 2 ядер. Так как многие игры ругаются на многопоточность и ядра! Во вторых вам нужно оптимизировать ваш ПК! В общем дерзайте!, Не судите за орфографию, Пишу в спешке!

Че то ты втираешь какую то дичь.
Тут по сути ток один совет, это добавить каталист в приложения поддерживающие 3д в nvidia control panel. Не помогло.

Не, ну правда, как то не серъезно это.
У меня феном 925, разогнанный до 3.5
Понятно что проц старый но он вполне тянет все игры. Зачем вырезать какие то там sse .
Почему в том же ведьмаке этого не сделали? Или батле 4? Что, там хуже графон?
P.s кстати та же история и в метал гир солиде и квантум брике

Ни чего не понимаю.
Идет загрузка меню и вылетает.
На видео те же системки только у меня процессор старый
Q6600 4ядра SSE2 8Mb. Поддержки SSE4,1 нет

Ну это все короче, даже не надейтесь. Последняя игра для старых процессоров это Star Wars Battlefront.
И не важно какой он у вас мощный, для них он тупо старый.
Первая волна 2015г полный переход на DX12
Вторая волна 2016 полный переход на SSE 4.2
Дальше будут игры только с поддержкой инструкций SSE 4.2
Ну этож типо могучий Движок Frostbite бла бла и все в таком духе

Вот такая выходит ошибка при запуске Мирорс Эдж Каталист

Запустил на W7+i5+Nvidia.
Бета в плане оптимизации никакая. Как выходишь из тюрьмы и встречаешься с Икарусом, во время загрузки информации на экран, игра начинает жутко лагать.
Под MR Catalyst бета NVIDIA не выпустила новые драйверы, Radeon тем более. От этого и проблемы.
