Nemesis crashes when updating engine

I just installed Nemesis (following this guide https://youtu.be/iEgndAj1jKk) and whenever I try to update the engine it crashes at 94%. I’ve looked around for s fix but couldn’t find anything beyond people saying to delete all mods and do a fresh install.

Any other possible solutions?

So, trying to run Nemesis like usual. It was working fine before but then I get this error. Three days of trying to look for solutions turns up nothing. No idea what’s causing it. Googling for other cases like mine/solutions turned up nothing. I can’t delete the Nemesis folders/instances in Windows/MO2 because Windows says they are being used by another program. Looking in task manager I don’t see WHAT could be using them, where it’s coming from. Closing MO2 to delete them does nothing same issue. So I can’t do a fresh reinstall of Nemesis. It just keeps repeating that last line; I delete the xml folder and temp_behaviors folder to see if it works, nothing changes. I tried reinstalling my mods, same thing. Tried checking and unchecking patches to see if that might do it, nothing. Not sure what to do from here. If anyone can figure this out I’d be grateful. Thanks.

Latest version (may 27, 2020) gives me the infamous message:

«exception caught directory_iterator: the system cannot find the path specified,:»mod» «

Older SSE versions of Nemesis (Jan 2020 and Dec 2019) don’t give any message, but don’t open either.

I’m running MO as Admin ofc.

I tried:

1) Reverting to older MO2 versions up from 2.4.2 to 2.3.2

2) Turning off Real-time protection and even adding MO2 folder as exclusion

Didn’t fix the problem for me. It’s infuriating.

Overall my game works fine, no crashes or anything, can it be related to the mods I have?

P.S: also, for some reason, I can’t drag n drop archives into my downloads section in MO, can it be related?

Edit: Solved by reinstalling Wiindows 11.
