По-моему еще такой глюк говорили, что не может поставиться, из-за различий в датах на компе и в инсталяхе. Решалось путем перестановки в системе даты на пару лет меньше, установки программ, и установки даты обратно.

Если ты про VS 7.1 то..
Я ставил весной, также долго мучался..
Короче проверенный алгоритм такой:
1) распаковать все архивы
2) распаковать Раром исо-хи по каталогам
3) скидать всё, кроме дублирующихся файлов в 1-й каталог
4) сетап.екзе
+ МСДНа нету там, нада качать отдельно

пробовал ставить на голою xp pro corporotiv, oem — не помогло
распаковывал образы в корень винта — аналогично
поставил borland, тема закрыта

hoping someone can assist me here. Trying to install SQL 2012 sp1 on a server which currently has MS Sql2008r2 installed. I’ve read this can be done, however keep getting the same error: 2349 happens during Install_SQlsupport_katmairtm_cpu64.action:installfiles.copyingnew

SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to install Microsoft Office 2000, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
Error 2349: Copy Resumed With Different Info
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if a compact disc is dirty or damaged.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Clean the Office 2000 compact disc.
Inspect the silver side of the disc for scratches that may prevent the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive from reading it. If there are no scratches, the compact disc may need cleaning.
To clean the compact disc, gently wipe the silver side of the disc with a soft, lint-free cotton cloth. Do not use paper cloth, which can scratch the plastic and leave streaks. When you clean the compact disc, wipe from the center of the disc outward; do not use a circular motion.
- Restart the computer.
- Attempt to install Office.
If you receive the same error message, you may need replacement compact discs.
To obtain replacement discs, call the Microsoft Order Desk at (800) 360-7561 and request replacement Office 2000 CD-ROMs.

SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to install Microsoft Office 2000, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
Error 2349: Copy Resumed With Different Info
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if a compact disc is dirty or damaged.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Clean the Office 2000 compact disc.
Inspect the silver side of the disc for scratches that may prevent the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive from reading it. If there are no scratches, the compact disc may need cleaning.
To clean the compact disc, gently wipe the silver side of the disc with a soft, lint-free cotton cloth. Do not use paper cloth, which can scratch the plastic and leave streaks. When you clean the compact disc, wipe from the center of the disc outward; do not use a circular motion.
- Restart the computer.
- Attempt to install Office.
If you receive the same error message, you may need replacement compact discs.
To obtain replacement discs, call the Microsoft Order Desk at (800) 360-7561 and request replacement Office 2000 CD-ROMs.
