When things don’t go as planned, we are here to help. Setting up Home Connect only requires a few steps. On occasion, error messages about connectivity issues can appear on your appliance. We will take a closer look at the four most common error codes, which can be handled by following the steps below.
First, check the error code. If the message says Error 5014, Error 4623, Error 1077 or Error 4613, keep on reading. Your code isn’t listed here? Contact our Home Connect Customer Service team and someone will be able to help you right away.
Error 5014: Can appear when there are connectivity issues
Try to login via the personal hotspot on your smartphone to test if the problem lies with the router. Don’t use the special characters in the phone’s name. If your personal hotspot allows you to connect with your appliance, there might be an issue with the router. Make sure that ports 443, 8080 and 123 are open. After that, check if the frequency is set to 2.4GHz. Once that’s done, deactivate the firewall. Your internet connection always needs to be set to WPA/WPA2. The error should be fixed now.
Error 4623: Can appear when you need to log in again due to an app issue
This connectivity error requires you to log out of the app. After you’ve done that, delete its data. If you have an iOS device, you can do this in the Home Connect App by selecting Profile and then Privacy and usage data. Perform a full reset by selecting the Reset option. You can now log into the app again. On Android devices choose section Settings, Applications/Apps, and select the Home Connect App. Press Storage, Delete Data/Cache and then log into the app again. It should be smooth sailing from here.
Error 1077: Can appear during manual setup when your smartphone isn’t connected to the home network
Try to login via the personal hotspot on your smartphone to test if the problem lies with the router. Don’t use the special characters in the phone’s name. If your personal hotspot allows you to connect with your appliance, there’s an issue with the router. Make sure that ports 443, 8080 and 123 are open. After that, check if the frequency is set to 2.4GHz. Once that’s done, deactivate the firewall. Your internet connection always needs to be set to WPA/WPA2. The error should be fixed now.
Error 4613: Can appear when there are connectivity issues, or when the router is too far away from the home appliance
When this error code appears, conduct a Factory Reset* of the appliance. Then, measure the signal strength with a wifi-analyzer app and check the settings of the router. Make sure that ports 443, 8080 and 123 are open and check if the frequency is set to 2.4GHz. Deactivate the firewall and make sure that the internet connection is set to WPA/WPA2.
*How to do a Factory Reset (last updated in August 2019):
Enter the menu section of your home appliance
Select Settings, then activate the Factory Reset
Reconnect the appliance to the router
Pair it again

Пытаюсь запустить проверку обновления на стиральной машине, но всё равно 0 байт принято/отправлено, что наводит на мысли о том, что проблемы возникают уже при попытке передать что-то через Wi-Fi.
Вычитал в интернете, что кажется машина использует какие-то очень дешёвые чипы, с ограниченной совместимостью. Попытался настроить максимально простой сетап: отключил сеть 5GHz совсем, для сети 2.4GHz оставил только стандарт 802.11b/g, отключил все флажки дополнительных функций на странице настройки Wi-Fi сети. Ничего не помогает.

Wi-Fi requirements and recommendations
Check whether your appliance is compatible with 2.4 GHz band or 5 GHz: Certain Home Connect appliances currently only work with 2.4 GHz band. Check your user manual to determine which bands your appliance will work with. When you connect an appliance, please change the settings for your network accordingly.
Encrypted Wi-Fi network: Home Connect will not work with open networks. It requires security level WPA2.
Compatible network modes: IEEE 802.11 a, b, g and n. Please ensure that your router is set up accordingly.

Troubleshooting checklist for connecting your appliance
Ensure you meet the minimum requirements
- Ensure your appliance is connected to the right network (Note some appliances only work with 2.4 GHz and will not connect to 5 GHz router). If using a dual band router ensure the names for the two networks are different. Check your appliance user manual for information on what network it can connect to.
Check for these common errors:
- Ensure your mobile device is on the same Wi-Fi network that you are connecting your appliance to connected to.
- Ensure you follow the Home Connect installation guide that came with your appliance. Each appliance requires different steps
Ensure you don’t use cellular connection during the pairing process: While pairing turn on airplane mode and then turn on Wi-Fi.
- Some devices will search for a connection that has Internet; during the paring process your mobile device will connect with the appliance‘s Wi-Fi network to transfer credentials. Since the appliance does not have an internet connection the mobile device will switch to another network that does, interrupting the pairing process.
Check your Wi-Fi connection
- Check whether you can get online with another device in your home. Make sure you are not using cellular connection to test your Internet connection.
- Ensure there is a strong network connection where the appliance is installed
Restart your router
- Unplug your routers (and range extenders/Wi-Fi repeaters) ensuring all lights are off. Keep unplugged for 30 seconds and then plug your routers back in. Wait until the router completely restarts and check the connection with another mobile device.
Check your router‘s user manual for more information.
Reinstall the app and restart your mobile device
- Uninstall and download the latest version of the Home Connect app. After doing so restart your mobile device and begin the pairing process again.
Factory reset your appliance
- In your use and care manual you will find instructions for resetting your appliance.

- Issue: Home appliance could not be connected.
- Possible reason: Home Connect data is missing.

В новую квартиру купил 5 приборов Бош, но больше не куплю ничего. Под этим брендом нет ничего — ни технологий, ни качества, ни нормального обслуживания. И все потому, что где то в Европе кому то удобно ставить эти приборы рядом, а не в колонну. С какого перепуга вы тогда позиционируете их установку в колонну?
Это же так наверное сложно, просверлить симметрично по две дырки с каждой стороны, чтобы люди сами могли выбирать, как им вешать двери! Хотя да, для Боша сложно. |

| Отзыв: | Умный дом — это модно, современно. У Bosch возможность управления прибором со смартфона (через WiFi) называется HomeConnect. Есть только одна сушилка с HomeConnect — эта, 6 серии. Я ещё могу понять логику не засовывать HomeConnect в посудомойку 45см, а только в 60см. Но я не могу понять почему HomeConnect нет в сушилках 8 серии и HomeProfessional. Очевидно маркетологи Bosch не очень понимают что и для кого они делают и экономят на спичках. При этом китайцы продают лампочки с управлением по WiFi за 500 руб. Короче, к WiFi она подключилась, а в приложение HomeConnect нет, ошибка 4613. На сколько я понял из общения с тех поддержкой Bosch — эта ошибка означает что прибор для другой страны. Сушилка была куплена в крупном сетевом гипермаркете электроники в России, везде всё по русски написано. Очевидно туда просто по ошибке загрузили прошивку для другой страны и вероятно это проблема всей партии. Как она сушит бельё? Понятия не имею! Сдал и взял другую 8 серии, без HomeConnect и … она не греет от слова совсем. Обе сушилки сделаны в Польше. Но это уже другая история. |

Заявленный wi-fi (точнее приложение) не работает от слова вообще! Какая то вся хлипенькая, гнущаяся — основная дверца провисшая с завода, нижняя технологическая дверца тонюсенькая, что аж прогибается вся. Почему то принцип работы экрана отличается от такого же на аналогичной стиралке (там для пуска надо просто нажать, здесь нажать и удерживать) Некорректно работают авто программы — сушка не чувствует небольшое количество белья. Нет реверса, барабан во всех режимах крутится абсолютно с одинаковой скоростью. Кажется, что режимы ничем не отличаются вообще. Шумный компрессор |

Пол дня провозился с приложением. Так и не заработало. К вайфай сушка подключается, а к приложению — нет. А если чудом и подключится, то через некоторое время снова пропадает. Да и приложение — убожество полное. Одна реклама, даже без перевода на русский. Функции — включить (предварительно активировав удаленный режим на сушке), выключить, выбрать режим, изменить настройки. Но даже это не работает. ПОЗОРИЩЕ!!! Ни с одним китайским ноунейм гаджетом столько проблем с подключением к сети не было. До этого была сушка (тоже бош) без ТН. Честно говоря, думал, что в этой сушке белье будет гораздо меньше нагреваться. Но по ощущениям, температура примерно такая же. Значит вся одежда также будет на размер-два садиться. Но вот помещение действительно не греется вообще. Старая сушка гораздо корректней работала с малым объемом белья. Эта сушка небольшой объем «не чувствует», просто через несколько минут заканчивает программу. Приходится сушить на ручной программе. У конкурентов есть специальные режимы вращения барабана, реверс. Здесь барабан просто крутится в одну сторону всегда с одной скоростью на всех режимах. Имеется корзина для сушки шерсти и обуви. Вот только посушить там за раз можно один предмет одежды и то сложив его достаточно замысловатым образом. Слив в канализацию удобен. Даже переходник по стандартный сифон в комплекте (здесь сливной шланг меньшего диаметра, чем у стиралки). Только при сливе в канализацию, до и после запуска программы самоочистки, надо проводить ряд манипуляций с контейнером для конденсата. В отличии от младших моделей здесь хотя бы есть лючок для доступа к теплообменнику и его хоть как то можно будет почистить, правда только с одной стороны. В общем я разочарован ТОПОВЫМ бошем. За такие деньги ожидал гораздо большего. |
