Check whether the FFC-254 flexible flat cable is broken, and check
whether it is inserted imperfectly.
If there is no problem the flexible flat cable, inspect or replacement
of the GP-037 board.

New HX9V — error code E:95:00 ??

I looked in the manual, and all it says for this is:
E:95:
There is trouble with the camera’s hardware. Turn the power off and on again.
Has anyone come across this error before? I had it flashing on the screen while doing some outdoor shooting… came inside, turned it on and off, it came up again.. now I have used it another 3-4 times and it is not coming up anymore. It is not a hot day and I was hardly in the sun when it happened, so I am not suspecting heat.
Anyone have an idea what it could be? This camera is only a few days old, so far I like it quite a bit but it does sometimes turn itself off then back on when processing a 3D multi angle sweep.

Well yesterday I had a problem when doing a sweep. The screen turned black and then the camera turned off and on and it did not record the sweep.

Got the same problem making some first test shots with my new HX9V. The camera rebooted and displayed that error every time I took a photo until I removed and re-inserted the battery and SD card. Hope it doesn’t show up again! This is one of the things you don’t want to see after spending a lot of money for a Camera.

It’s a wonder how so many problems with electronic equipment can be solved just by turning them off and disconnecting the power for awhile.

Re: sweep problem
Ahh, I lost track of this post from a few days ago.
Interesting that others have had this same issue and/or the reboot while taking multi angle sweep (not 3d panorama, that always works fine for me as there is no real «processing» done after the pic is shot). I am going to keep taking test shots, sweeps etc. to see if I can figure out any pattern with it.
It is disappointing to have this issue. I have to wonder if a firmware fix would help, or if Sony has a good record with correcting errors in digicams via firmware.

To me it happened while in superior auto mode, not in sweep panorama.

I have experienced something similar on a few occasions; certainly once when using sweep panorama; on another occasion the screen went blank and completely unresponsive. Removing the battery and replacing it got it back to normal. On another couple of occasions, when turning it on, the camera would not focus on anything and was completely blurred. Again, turn it off and back on and all was OK.
I described these problems with Sony UK and they suggested sending the camera to their repair centre for analysis. I’ll wait for a while before doing that.

Фотоаппарат стал сигнализировать об ошибке Е 95 01, о которой в интернете очень мало сведений. В руководстве к Сайбер Шот говорится, что в случае появления такой ошибки, ремонт может произвести только специалист сервисного центра. За исключением мигающей надписи «Error» на экране камеры, устройство работает достаточно корректно, о чем также не забыл упомянуть Клиент.
Во время работы с устройством, в частности во время разбора, инженер не заметил следов грубого механического повреждения, следов присутствия влаги и окисления.
Sony Cyber Shot RX 100 Mark 2 ошибка E 95 01 – о чем она сообщает?
Е 95 01 не входит в перечень распространенных ошибок Сони, и довольно редко проявляется. Сигнализирует она о том, что возникла аппаратная ошибка датчика ускорения (он же акселератор). Этот датчик является неким подобием компаса, отвечающего за переворот экрана при смене положения мыльницы, либо за корректную работу оптического стабилизатора, который тоже имеется в современных моделях Сайбер Шот. Акселератор находится на верхней плате фотоаппарата (на плате управления), и с помощью шлейфа соединяется с материнской платой камеры.
Согласно сервисной инструкции по ремонту данных фотоаппаратов, производитель рекомендует проверить шлейфы платы, то бишь, осмотреть их на предмет наличия трещин и заломов. В случае их наличия, рекомендуется замена системной платы, либо платы управления, компонентом которой является данный датчик, в зависимости от того, какой именно шлейф пострадал. Внимательно осмотрев шлейфы, инженер сообщил, что проблема не в них.
Была найдена проблема в верхней плате. Всему виной послужило возникновение такого явления, как «холодная пайка», которую можно отнести к перечню заводских браков. Такое явление возникает, при интенсивном нажатии на кнопку спуска, в результате чего возникающая вибрация провоцировала появление микротрещин, что привело к прерыванию контакта с датчиком, и экран сигнализировал «Error E 95 01».
Специалист успешно произвел работы по устранению дефекта, и фотоаппарат больше не информировал пользователя о возникшей ошибке.
Инженеры Фотоблик отмечают, что самой серьезной «болезнью» мыльниц Сони Сайбер Шот являются проблемы со шлейфами, находящимися в объективе фотоаппарата. Дело в том, что шлейфы уложены таким образом, что на их сгибах со временем появляются заломы, как из-за падений и ударов, так и после определенного пробега устройства.
Если у Вашего фотоаппарата Сони:
- На экране появилась номерная ошибка;
- После падения не выдвигается объектив;
- Проблемы после залития водой;
- Перестали работать кнопки;
- Разбит дисплей, корпус, линза объектива;
То рекомендуем обращаться за ремонтом к Инженерам Фотоблик.

The reason for error «E:95:00» is actually very simple. It tell you that you camera battery is about to expire. Buy a new battery and your issue is resolved

Has anyone come across this error before? I had it flashing on the screen while doing some outdoor shooting… came inside, turned it on and off, it came up again.. now I have used it another 3-4 times and it is not coming up anymore. Got the same problem making some first test shots with my new HX9V. The camera rebooted and displayed that error every time I took a photo until I removed and re-inserted the battery and SD card.
