I have downloaded IBM Client SDK 4.10 FC5DE for Windows x64. When I proceed to install it, InstallAnyWhere popups saying «Preparing installation files…». When it reaches to 100% below error is shown and installation terminates:

And If I click on details button its show stack trace:

My OS is Windows 8.1 Pro and I have the last Java x86 and Java x86_64 installed on my system. Java x86_64 is the only activated in Java configuration panel. If I activated both, it does not work either. Leaving activating Java x86 it does not work either.

Below the Java packages installed on my system:

• Java 8 Update 151
• Java 8 Update 151 (64-bit)
• Java(TM) SE Development Kit 6 Update 24

So any ideas on what is happening?

SOLVED:
I have solved it.

In order to work you need to set Compatibility Mode to Windows 7 for setup ( executable file).

Right click on setup file, go to compatibility tab, and then set «Compatibility Mode» to «Windows 7». Also in configuration, you can check «Launch this program as Administrator».

Hello,
I am having an issue with the game as of one of the past updates.
Unfortunetly have not played the game for many months, so I dont know which release/update/patch caused the issue but I have over 100 hours played so it is a new(ish) issues for sure.

I have the steam version.

I am able to open the launcher, and launch the game, the initial screen will appear but then the game crashes before I hit the main menu.
The error message after the crash says:
«An error has occurred and the application quit quit unexpectedly. a crash report has been generated which could help us to fix the issue in a future»
When I try to send the error report, this fails also.

I have tried:
— Updating my NVIDIA drivers
— Unintalling and re-installing the game
— Verifying the integrity of the game files in steam
— Opening the .exe file as administrator (I get a blank window instead of the launcher)

Please let me know if I can provide any other useful information .

— move any valued save games elsewhere
— «uninstall» in Steam-CK3
— manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/CK3 AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3 folders
— re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
— add CK3.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware «Apps Allowed Through» list.
— start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK3 or Documents CK3 locations, before installing again.

Sorry for the late response here, I’ve been really busy and have really slow internet so it’s hard to find a time to do a fresh instal.

Anyway, I followed all the steps above and have the same error.

Requested files are attached in a zip file.

excptions.log file does not exist.

Lots of DirectX 11 errors, plus other video problems in there. While your nVidia driver is pretty recent, being on Windows 8.1 is not ideal — were you at all thinking of updating that OS?

Right click on ck3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick «disable fullScreen optimisations» untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.

Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, refresh rate 60.

Is that any better?

If not, edit that pdx_settings.txt file and replace DX11 with OpenGL .Does it load then?

An error has occurred and application quit unexpectedly

Hi, I have Windows 10 Home, intel i7 6700 HQ cpu with Nvidia GeForce GTX950 graphic card.

Recently, I have updated EU4 to 1.29.5. When I click to play on launcher, this crash report comes. EU4 logo screen appear for a second, game music continues to play until I send the crash report or close it. I have tried, clean re-install, verify game folder on steam, borderless full screen, compatibility mode with Windows 7 and 8. Run as administrator, disable full screen optimizations etc.

The essence of the word, I have done almost every solutions I see on online platforms which people having the similar problems. Nothing seems to work. Last, I deleted all EU4 files, uninstall the game, delete all documents and appdata folder with local and roaming. Install the game again in different hard drive sector. That wont help either. I have uploaded my last crash report folder completely. (That report belong before I have install the game to different hard drive sector. After, I done that, I am having new crash report which is «Bootstrapper Error — Couldn’t start launcher». I believe I can solve this by bypassing the launcher and start the game directly in EU4 folder. My major problem is the one I written on title. I am looking forward to somenone help me.

It throws me a box with that error, I already tried the antivirus, adding it to an exception, Check the local file in steam, uninstall and install the game clean, I don’t know what else to do, I don’t know, Luckily I didn’t buy the DLCs because the game doesn’t work for me

Релиз Hearts of Iron 4 состоялся достаточно давно. Однако разработчики регулярно выпускают новые дополнения и у них есть собственный лаунчер. Из-за этого всего возникают разного рода технические проблемы. Даже несмотря на приличный возраст лаунчера, у него существуют определённые проблемы, которые банально не дают запустить игру. В связи с этим предлагаем изучить наш FAQ, где собраны ответы на наиболее распространённые проблемы.

Появляется «Ошибка базы данных» / «Не удалось перенести базу данных»

Время от времени игроки Hearts of Iron IV сталкиваются с ошибкой, которая не позволяет перенести базу данных. В сообщении с ошибкой намекают на повреждённые файлы. И отчасти это действительно правда.

Как правило, эта проблема связана с антивирусом или любыми другими защитными функциями системы, которые умеют и могут удалять, по их мнению, подозрительные файлы. Например, многие игроки Hearts of Iron 4 жалуются, что подобным часто занимается антивирус AVG.

В любом случае решение простое – необходимо отключить защиту от программ-вымогателей и защиту файлов. А лучше вообще отключить на время игры работу антивируса или настроить исключения, куда уже можно поместить папку с игрой Hearts of Iron IV.

Появляется сообщение «Произошла ошибка» / «Не удалось запустить игру»

В некоторых случаях, когда Hearts of Iron IV запускается через Paradox Launcher, появляется сообщение, где сказано «Произошла ошибка». Следом предлагают проверить целостность файлов и установить определённый набор библиотек.

Мы не рекомендуем игнорировать советы, которые представлены в уведомлении об ошибке. Поэтому первым делом запускаете процедуру проверки целостности файлов. А после проверяете, присутствуют ли все необходимые библиотеки, которые требует игра (Visual C++ и NET Framework). И только после этого предлагаем сделать следующее:

• Первым делом необходимо отключить «Брандмауэр Защитника Windows» вместе с установленным антивирусом или любой другой защитной программой.

В связи с тем, что каждый антивирус обладает собственными индивидуальными настройками, разобраться в своём установленном придётся самостоятельно.

Чтобы отключить встроенную защиту ОС Windows → необходимо в поиске рядом с «Пуском» прописать «Брандмауэр Защитника Windows» → открыть найденный раздел.

Далее откройте раздел «Разрешение взаимодействия с приложением или компонентом брандмауэра Защитника Windows» → в следующем окне выбираете «Изменить параметры» &#8594 находите Hearts of Iron IV → устанавливаете рядом с игрой галочку → устанавливаете ещё две галочки в пунктах справа («Частная» и «Публичная»).

Если не нашли Hearts of Iron IV в списке, тогда ниже выбираете «Другое приложение» → находите исполнительный exe-файл игры (hoi4.exe) вместе с Paradox Launcher → выбираете → устанавливаете галочки → ниже в конце нажимаете

Если вдруг ничего из этого не помогло, тогда последнее, что можно порекомендовать, так это переустановить DirectX. В некоторых случаях DirectX сбоит, файлы могут быть повреждены и многое другое. Поэтому просто полностью удаляете его и скачиваете заново.

Вылетает на этапе «Вычисления контрольной суммы» / На экране появляются иероглифы

По словам разработчиков, все эти проблемы никак не связаны с самой игрой. Основная причина возникновения – это в первую очередь моды. Они могут быть неисправны, имеют ошибки в кодировании, у некоторых присутствуют неверные параметры, синтаксические ошибки и они могут быть банально устаревшими.

Само собой, существуют и другие причины. К примеру, Hearts of Iron IV может быть неправильно настроен в соответствии с текущими системными характеристиками, отсутствуют или неправильно установлены файлы. Иногда на это влияют даже фоновые программы или любое другое специфическое приложение.

В общем, причин – огромная куча. Однако если вы уверены, что с вашим ПО полный порядок, драйвера обновлены, а игра ещё вчера работала вполне нормально, тогда предлагаем ознакомиться с решением ниже:

• Для начала нужно пройти по адресу «…DocumentsParadox InteractiveHearts of Iron IV» и удалить всю папку Paradox Interactive → вместе с этим необходимо удалить и локальные сохранения → если хотите их сохранить, тогда сделайте резервную копию.

После этого нужно отписаться от абсолютно всех модов → для этого открываете мастерскую Steam → открываете файлы мастерской → следом переходите к своим файлам → далее к элементам и отписываетесь.

Теперь нужно удалить HoI4 → заодно вместе с этим нужно удалить обе папки, связанные с игрой → первую вы сможете отыскать по адресу «…SteamsteamappscommonHearts of Iron IV commonHearts of Iron IV)» → вторую отыщите по адресу «…(C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonHearts of Iron IV)».

Ошибка «Paradox Crash Reporter» / Сбой программы запуска

Игроки жалуются, что по непонятной причине, когда запускают Hearts of Iron IV загрузка идёт вполне нормально, но потом внезапно появляется чёрный экран и появляется ошибка «Paradox Launcher Crash». Более того, некоторые игроки отмечают, что не используют моды, но ошибка всё равно получается. В связи с этим предлагаем ознакомиться с собственным решением проблемы:

• Открываете Paradox Launcher → переходите в «Настройки игры» → далее находите опцию «Renderer» → здесь необходимо сменить DirectX 11 на DirectX 9.

Экран становится тусклым / Яркость экрана слишком тёмная

Иногда в Hearts of Iron IV возникает такая проблема, когда экран становится слишком тусклым и практически ничего не видно. Настройки при этом не помогают, потому что там яркость никак не влияет на ситуацию. Единственное решение – это переключиться в настройках лаунчера с DirectX 11 на DirectX 9.

Слетели моды после обновления / Не работают моды после обновления

Происходит подобное по разным причинам. Например, сам по себе Paradox Launcher довольно сырой, некоторые моды не обновляются и, соответственно, считаются устаревшими для текущей версии Hearts of Iron 4. В некоторых случаях даже влияет «Семейный доступ», если играли с двух аккаунтов. Из-за всего этого существует сразу несколько способов решения проблемы:

• Для начала нужно попробовать отписаться от всех модов из Steam Workshop. Для этого открываете «Сообщество» → выбираете «Мастерскую» → нажимаете на «Ваши файлы» → «Подписки» → выбираете Hearts of Iron 4 рядом с фильтром → выбираете «Отписаться от всего» → после этого выбираете один мод для тестовой проверки и стараетесь не использовать «Семейный доступ», чтобы поломка не повторилась.

Необходимо проверить актуальны ли используемые моды для текущей версии Hearts of Iron IV. Обязательно под модом проверяете комментарии (зачастую игроки там пишут рабочий мод или нет). Если ничего подобного нет, тогда устанавливаете мод через «Demo Content».

Дело в том, что программы и компьютерные игры, использующие интернет, для работы требуют не только беспроблемный доступ к сети, но и вдобавок открытые порты. Это особенно важно, если вы хотите поиграть в какую-нибудь сетевую игру.

Часто порты на компьютере закрыты, поэтому их следует открыть. Кроме того, перед настройкой нужно узнать номера портов, а для этого для начала потребуется узнать IP-адрес роутера.

an error has occurred and the application quit unexpectedly

Hello,
I am having an issue with the game as of one of the past updates.
Unfortunetly have not played the game for many months, so I dont know which release/update/patch caused the issue but I have over 100 hours played so it is a new(ish) issues for sure.

I have the steam version.

I am able to open the launcher, and launch the game, the initial screen will appear but then the game crashes before I hit the main menu.
The error message after the crash says:
«An error has occurred and the application quit quit unexpectedly. a crash report has been generated which could help us to fix the issue in a future»
When I try to send the error report, this fails also.

I have tried:
— Updating my NVIDIA drivers
— Unintalling and re-installing the game
— Verifying the integrity of the game files in steam
— Opening the .exe file as administrator (I get a blank window instead of the launcher)

Please let me know if I can provide any other useful information .

— move any valued save games elsewhere
— «uninstall» in Steam-CK3
— manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/CK3 AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3 folders
— re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
— add CK3.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware «Apps Allowed Through» list.
— start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK3 or Documents CK3 locations, before installing again.

Sorry for the late response here, I’ve been really busy and have really slow internet so it’s hard to find a time to do a fresh instal.

Anyway, I followed all the steps above and have the same error.

Requested files are attached in a zip file.

excptions.log file does not exist.

Lots of DirectX 11 errors, plus other video problems in there. While your nVidia driver is pretty recent, being on Windows 8.1 is not ideal — were you at all thinking of updating that OS?

Right click on ck3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick «disable fullScreen optimisations» untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.

Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, refresh rate 60.

Is that any better?

If not, edit that pdx_settings.txt file and replace DX11 with OpenGL .Does it load then?

Hi, I have Windows 10 Home, intel i7 6700 HQ cpu with Nvidia GeForce GTX950 graphic card.

Recently, I have updated EU4 to 1.29.5. When I click to play on launcher, this crash report comes. EU4 logo screen appear for a second, game music continues to play until I send the crash report or close it. I have tried, clean re-install, verify game folder on steam, borderless full screen, compatibility mode with Windows 7 and 8. Run as administrator, disable full screen optimizations etc.

The essence of the word, I have done almost every solutions I see on online platforms which people having the similar problems. Nothing seems to work. Last, I deleted all EU4 files, uninstall the game, delete all documents and appdata folder with local and roaming. Install the game again in different hard drive sector. That wont help either. I have uploaded my last crash report folder completely. (That report belong before I have install the game to different hard drive sector. After, I done that, I am having new crash report which is «Bootstrapper Error — Couldn’t start launcher». I believe I can solve this by bypassing the launcher and start the game directly in EU4 folder. My major problem is the one I written on title. I am looking forward to somenone help me.

Paradox crash reporter hearts of iron 4 что делать

Всем привет!
При запуске HOI 4 версии 1.9.х. вылетает Paradox Crash Reporter и игра просто напросто крашится. При всём при этом, версия 1.8.1 отлично работает и запускается.
P.S. Игра крашится что на лицензии, что на пиратке

У этой игры высокие требования к оперативки. Возможно, один из слотов памяти битый.

Играл на ноутбуке с оперативкой в 4 гига, не в этом дело, явно

Партагеноссе старина Мюллер Просветленный (47198) Данила Писарев, значит, просто нехватка оперативки. 4 гига это минимум, а если система 64 бита, то у тебя вообще всего 2 гига для игры остаётся, в лучшем случае. Расширяй оперативки до 8 хотя бы.

Paradox crash reporter

Не запускалась пока не задрочил файл «imperator_win_console», после аваст соизволил дать уведомления о том что он не дает игре изменить какой-то файл в моих документах, когда дал разрешение все заработало.

Согласен, правда в этот раз аваст закосил под партизана притом что после первой установки я потерпел фиаско и решил переустановить это творчество параходов с отключенным антивирусом и также запустил, но снова краш.

Paradox crash reporter

First, i want to apologize for my english. I have some issue when i launch Europa Universalis IV. I can listen to the music in the background but i receive immediately a «paradox crash reporter» when i want to launch the game. The screen becomes black with the music but i receive then an crash reporter. I have tried a clean reinstall, to start with the window option, reinstall steam, but its always the same problem. I think it’s not a problem that involve steam because I can launch other games without any issues. I have send a screen from the dxdiag.txt.

Together for Victory: Crash to desktop

If you experience an issue where the game continuously crashes to desktop when you try and launch it please do the following:

— Close Steam
— Navigate to My Documents > Paradox Interactive > Hearts of Iron 4
— Delete the «map» and «sharedcache» folder
— Disable any outdated mods
— Restart Steam and launch the game

If this doesn’t work please follow the same procedure as above but delete the entire Hearts of Iron 4 folder and try again.

IMPORTANT NOTE!
Backup your savegame folder if you wish to keep your save games!
