Hi:
You are getting that error because Broadcom never made any W8 drivers for the model wifi adapter your notebook has.
If you want the wireless to work, you will need to connect via ethernet or USB wireless network adapter, do the required updates to W8, so you can get the free upgrade to W8.1 from the Windows Store, and then you can use the W8.1 Broadcom wifi driver on your notebook’s support page.

Now, if you get the same error when you go to install this driver, you will need to reinstall W7 and then reinstall the driver I posted.
There have been several forum members who when they first install the wrong driver and get that error, any subsequent driver installations fail with that same error.
The only solution that has worked to remedy that issue is to reinstall the operating system.

Explanation
Resources are accessed in an order in which individual transactions are not consistent, resulting in deadlocks . Example:
- Transaction1 updates Table1.Row1 and Transaction2 updates Table2.Row2
- Transaction1 tries to update Table2.Row2 but stops because Transaction2 has not committed yet.
- Transaction2 tried to update Table1.Row1 without hesitation, but Transaction1 is stuck because it is not asking check.
- A deadlock occurs in Transaction1 because it is waiting for Transaction2 to complete successfully, and Transaction2 is waiting on Transaction1 to complete.
The system recognizes this difficulty and selects one of the purchases as a “victim”. It will reject this error message, which accepts the transaction from our own victim. See Deadlocks for more information.

In this scenario, SQL Server often ends the deadlock by automatically selecting the process and exiting it so that the other process can actually continue. The interrupted transaction is discarded and an error message is sent to the user of the interrupted process on the marketplace. Generally speaking, the transaction that requires the least overhead to cancel canceled payments.

Block priority is completely user definable; In other words, the user can choose which process to stop to help you keep other processes running. The SQL Server automatically chooses a process to terminate that is still running and terminates the ring chain associated with locks. WiFi driver for 15-g208nm windows 7
I have recently bought Hewlett Packard 15-g208nm M6D79EA and I installed windows 7 SP1 on it, managed to install drivers for everything except WiFi adapter, it is reporting as network controller in device manager with hardware Id
Closest I got to this driver would be sp70616 Broadcom 802.11 Wireless LAN Adapter
But when I try installing it, if fails at the end with following message:
error «update.cpp 1205» has occurred and Setup cannot continue.
can you please advise what driver do I need to download and install and if there is anything I need to change to make it work?

Yes that is a very tricky card to find the right driver for.
You have to experiment unfortunately.
The problem is the more you experiment, the more the registry gets messed up, and you may have to reinstall W7 each time you try a different driver.
I’ve seen this before.

Thank you for quick repply, but unfortunatly I get the same error as with previous driver. When trying to manualy update the driver from device manager it also fails with following window

Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter
The system cannot find the file specified.
Unfortunatly it does not specify what file it has issues with.
I do have WiFi indication light on the keyboard, so I can enable and disable it and it worked previously on windows 10, so hardware wise it should be good.

Установил на ноутбук Lenovo G700 Windows 7 64x. Использовал программу DriverPack для установки драйверов. Едва дело дошло до сетевого адаптера, установка зависла. Повторная попытка закончилась сообщением о том, что установить драйвер для этого устройства нельзя.
В диспетчере устройств сетевой адаптер отмечен жёлтым треугольником.
При установке драйвера пишет, что он не нуждается в обновлении. Несколько раз написал: «Update.cpp1250 продолжение установки невозможно». Пробовал удалить и поставить заново. Результата ноль. В чём выражается:
1) в правом углу нет «белых ступенек», где отображаются доступные сети
2) в диспетчере устройств жёлтый треугольник.
Устройство broadcom 802.11n
Доп инфа: внешний сетевой адаптер, подключённый через USB, работает без проблем.

Проделал всё тоже самое:
Винда 7, Lenovo g700, пакет драйверов через DRP и 3 драйвера с этой ссылки. И что же произошло? А ничего! Я один в один повторил всю вчерашнюю процедуру с драйверами, которые в итоге заработали, но не получил никакого результата. Сеть находится, но при попытке подключения пишет, что windows не удалось подключиться к *название мобильника, раздающего wi-fi*.
Вспомнил, что задавал вопрос вчера здесь. Нашёл тут ссылку на драйвер. Установил. После этого удалил устройство из сетей, сменил на нём пароль и заново подключился.
Но на долго ли? Я не могу быть на 100% уверен, что после следующей перезагрузки всё не отрубится. Усугубляет всё ещё то, что внешний wi-fi адаптер, который вчера легко установился и работал, сегодня ни в какую не хочет даже раз моргнуть и что-то сделать.
Тем не менее, wi-fi пока принимает и без него. Если будут новости, я отпишусь в этой теме о проблеме дальше. На данный момент спасибо обоим участникам, отписавшимся здесь.
Пошёл по методу, который порекомендовали выше:
1. Откатил систему до установки DRP
3. Установил драйвер.
Итог:
а) в правом углу нет «белых ступенек», где отображаются доступные сети;
б) внешний wi-fi адаптер так же не видит.
Работает только через функцию USB-модем в мобильнике. (роутера и кабельного Интернета под рукой нет).

Уверен, что я с такой проблемой не один. Очень хотелось бы помочь человеку, который так же, рыская в Интернете, наткнётся на эту ветку. Но, увы, мне нечего подсказать. В сети сотни людей, разбирающихся в компах, но нигде нет внятной информации, что же такого могло произойти с ноутом.
Итак, я попробовал установить на чистую систему драйвера, порекомендованные на этом форме пользователем sergey_dsv, но это не помогло.
Что я сделал дальше? Снёс всё подчистую. Начал снова устанавливать дрова вручную. Поставил все 3 драйвера, которые есть по приведённой мною выше ссылке (именно все три, невзирая на то, относятся они к wi-fi или нет) по порядку сверху вниз. И после этого получил бесперебойную работу Интернет в течение двух дней!
Отдельно хочу обратить внимание на то, как выглядит диспетчер устройств работоспособного Lenovo g700 в моём случае:
1) присутствует Плата адаптера 1х11b/g/n Wireless LAN PCI Express Half Mini Card
2) никакого устройства Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter, которое навязчиво появлялось после установки других драйверов, НЕТ. И только тогда, когда его нет, Wi-fi работает!
3) Ethernet-контроллер находится в разделе «Другие устройства», помеченный жёлтым значком с восклицательным знаком. Что не мешает функционировать Wi-fi и Интернету через кабель. Пытаться установить дрова на это устройство не вижу смысла: вдруг опять всё слетит?
В дополнение ко всему я через панель управления запретил Windows 7 делать хоть какие-то манипуляции с дровами и обнавлениями, чтобы она не приведи Господь хоть какой-то из работающих драйверов не заменила.
Исправно ли работает система? Нет! Она проработала два дня без перебоев, а потом я сидел в сети, раздавая Wi-fi через мобильник, и тут на нём села батерейка. Сеть, соответственно, отрубилась. Попытка подключиться не удаётся. Пишет, что НЕЛЬЗЯ ПОДКЛЮЧИТЬСЯ К УСТРОЙСТВУ.
Что же я сделал? Сменил пароль на Wi-fi мобильника. Разумеется, исправил ключ в ноуте. И всё подключилось! Надолго? Нет, на 5 – 10 минут. И снова: «Нельзя подключиься к устройству». Повторил процедуру со сменой ключа Wi-fi на телефоне — результат тот же: 5 – 10 минут работы через Wi-fi. Подключаем телефон через кабель — стабильная работа Интернет.
Что я предпринял дальше? Откатил систему на пару дней назад, когда ставил последнюю прогу. Помогло? Нисколько. НО. Когда я ОТМЕНИЛ ВОЗВРАТ К ТОЧКЕ ВОССТАНОВЛЕНИЯ, Wi-fi снова заработал стабильно на любых устройствах.
Из этого делаю вывод, что все устройства не должны отключаться, выключаться и терять связь с ноутбуком Lenovo g700, иначе он уже не захочет подключаться к ним (по крайней мере, дольше, чем на 10 минут).
Проблему решённой считать не могу. Не уверен, что через 5 минут, день, неделю, Wi-fi снова не отрубится.
Надеюсь, мой опыт кому-то поможет хоть чем-то. А сам всё ещё уповаю на то, что кто-то на форуме из этих деталей сможет извлечь достаточно информации, чтобы ответить мне на вопрос, как же заставить работать Wi-fi на Lenovo g700.

HP 250 G4: I get «Update.cpp 1205» when I try to install a driver

I provide a laptop HP with windows 7 in the course of running for my clients.
I bought a HP Pavilion 17-g108na and bought Windows 764 bit on a DVD.
When I want to boot from the DVD, I get the error message:

If you want to install Windows 7, need to disable secureboot and activate the start mode inherited so he could run.

If so, I would not update the driver. Many problems with W10 and IDT audio.
There is an audio driver IDT W10 on your PC support page if the Beats Audio doesn’t work properly or not at all.

Hello. I’m here to ask you, could I upgrade my video card on my HP Pavilion 2303su g6? As graphics card Radeon HD 7670 M becomes older and older, I was wondering if I can get my video card to a newer model of AMD or Nvidia even?

There is no graphics removable/replaceable/extendable ‘cards’ in your noteobook.
(GPU) graphics cards, are chips that are welded and their circuit integrated on the motherboard.
The only way to update the graph on your laptop would be to replace the motherboard.
But as the graphical installation program has your laptop is the best that HP offered for this model, there is no motherboards available with better graphics.

I just bought gtx950 for my HP Pavilion p6-2032it(H-CUPERTINO2-H61-uA TX), and I can’t seem to make it work.
Is there a way to update my BIOS? If this is the case, I find no updates. Any help please?
P6-2032it is a toward 2011 machine without the availability of work with a UEFI BIOS. The GTX 950 requires UEFI. There are maps ofMSIand which Legacy and UEFI Shappire via a micro-switch.
The HP Pavilion a6560z bios update
I have a HP Pavilion a6560z. Product #: KZ851AV
I tried to upgrade the processor of double base installed to a phenom x 4 9550, that my research shows is compatible as long as I have updated the bios. I am currently running bios version 5.14 20/06/2008. My problem is the OS original on this PC is Vista, I erased this OS and now run Win 7. I found an update of bios, version 5.49 but she said do not be there except if Vista is installed. Will install this bios brick Council since its desingned for vista?
I can’t enter the bios with the 9550 installed but it does not start in windows. The bios shows that it is a blah blah Phenom quad core, so at least he acknowledges that, but when I try to load windows it says «the file is maybe damaged. The file header checksum does not match the checksum calculated. «I read that had a memory problem and tried 8 different sticks, all with the same result, so I thought it was a bios problem. Anyway, any help on a version of bios, I can try without bricking advice would be greatly appreciated. Even if its for Vista that I am always willing to try. This pc is not much of value.

Laptop very slow to start and respond to the entry. Then, after some use crashes and blue screen with the message «tread stuck in device driver».
Have very slowly downloaded and installed updated drivers. No help. Also found info from other sources that a BIOS update may cure the problem.
However, go to the support page for this BIOS HP gives me this:
«Cannot access the system at the moment, we are sorry, but an error has occurred and we are temporarily unable to access the system you’re looking for right now. Please check back soon. »
Same thing for the last 3 days.

and create a USB support with installation media.

I did as suggested and the installation media was created very well as it sounds.
But now I have another question. Windows tagged to a registration for a new installation Code.
I heard this kind of Windows hardcodes the registration code in the USB support.
Anyone know of experience if this is true and if I can go forward a reinstallation of Windows 10 (without going through a registration code)?

I used tool for creating Microsoft Media (is that your link will?) to make the installation media (USB key).
If your computer comes with win 10 or previously had it installed and activated correctly, so I think I know it activates automatically during installation. No key is required, it works. Just make sure that you create a disc with the same version that you had previously installed (home or pro).

How do update you the BIOS on an a1547c office? I can’t find all the links to the BIOS updates for this motherboard.

This graphics card will suit for my cpu and will work properly with the motherboard?
I’ll add 4additional giggabites to increase the total memory (RAM) to 8 GB so connected.
And besides, I will buy a 400W power supply.
Will this work for my current 6654 Pavilion?

As I suspected, your computer has a standard BIOS. This means that you can buy an older video card. I love EVGA products. I suggest to find a card you like and contact Tech Support from the manufacturer (Technical Support EVGA 1-888-880-3842) in order to ensure that it will work on your computer. It is the best way I found to do not have to make a return. The last card done EVGA used a standard BIOS was their 640 GT. Some of them have a update for the VBIOS that allows them to run with a standard BIOS.
Now for the power supply (PSU). I love Corsair products. I normally recommend at least 500W. This allows for future updates. A modular power supply is good for smaller cases. Simply use the required cables, allowing a better air circulation. You must measure the existing PSU and compare the measurements to the one you choose. All connectors must be compatible.

I have HP Pavilion DV6 3122TX and recently I was updating my drivers and software from the HP Web site for my laptop. Everything was done smoothly. As I updated my BIOS, I noticed that I was not able to switch between ATI Radeon 5650 and Intel HD Graphics, then I was also shocked that he wasn’t showing a charger plugged into icon too. Although the battery was charging but didn’t show any icon for it. I am running Windows 7. After a few days, my battery was went wrong and was not in charge. I bought the new battery from HP Store for my laptop, and then after a few days now he is dying too. My computer laptop suddenly stops on about 30% of battery remaining and battery does not charge. I arranged another charger and plugged, but once more. I gave the laptop to the service center local and got NO from them as well. They couldn’t find the problem. After a lot of research and reading messages HP, I finally understood that it was the problem with the BIOS Update and Windows 7. So, out of curiosity, I installed Linux RedHat 6 on windows 7 and everything was OK. But I am a graphic designer for Linux is not a good choice for me. I want to just restore my BIOS in its original version of the default BIOS. Please kindly help me to get my original BIOS. I tried everything on my hand. I also ask HP to the original versions of the drivers like BIOS on its Internet site. My laptop is dying. Please, Experts, I need your kind assisstence. Thanks in advance

Create the key USB HP Diagnostics of material 3-in-1 PC and boot to it.
If you updated the BIOS from the old version will still be in a folder of your operating system. Use the method I proposed to get it back.
If you are unable to read the instructions on the web page of Diagnostics of material for the HP PC, then I suggest that you pay someone to do it and create the flash drive for you.

Pavilion dv7-6080el: update the graphics drivers: one in the choice of the hp support site?
Hello. Many games always tell me that I have the graphics drivers not updated.
Playing Overwatch, I uninstalled and automatically updated graphics drivers. But looking at the site (site for my computer laptop support technique hp) they are still not updated and there are 5 drivers choice. How should know which I expect?
Now, pilots have version 8.810.4.1000, but I guess I probably want the Rev 8.830.6.2000. or the 8.882.2.3000.
If anyone can help?

for switchable graphics, it’s for laptops that have only the map intel.
