Перед установкой посмотрите видео полностью. Дело в том, что я устанавливал EZdrummer 2.0.2 с первой попытки, поэтому активировать получилось не сразу, в результате потребовалось заменить два файла, которые прилагаются.

Предыдущее видео было с установкой на windows 7, теперь ставлю на windows 10 Pro. В первом видео ставил версию EZDrummer 2 x32, теперь устанавливаю EZDrummer 2 x64.

Записываю установки софта всегда с первой попытки, поэтому не всегда понятно что нужно делать, чтобы активировать программу. В конце немного запутался, сделал много лишних действий с R2R активаторами, а надо было просто заменить файл EZdrummer.dll.

Hey guys, i’ve got some problems with the authorization too, i’m using windows 7 64 bit and tried it with both versions (32/64). But if I trie to use the keygen ver 1.1.2 with the not updated ezdrummer 2, the keygen works fine, but the authorization file doesn’t work. And if I use the Keygen ver 1.2.3 with the updated version of ezdrummer 2, i get an error from the keygen after klick on the button to generate the authorization file, everytime it says «make sure that your network card is aviable». I tried everything to «aviable my network card» whatever that means, but it still not work. Can somebody Help me pls?

HELLO ALL!
I am having the same problems. I am using a mac along with winbottler for the keygen and every time I try to activate it tells me «activation failed, wrong file?» I tried renaming the .ttauth file, but still nothing.
I also do not see an AAX file in my Ezdrummer 2 download location, I see .dmg .dll and .zip Also I am a n00b, obviously. I don’t know how to patch files does that work on a mac? Really need to get this program working, please help!
I’ve got the same big problem of pointer5. I can’t authorize EZ2 cause RSA keygen gave me this «This code will be rejected by Toontrack» and «make sure that your network card is aviable»

I do apologize for the time taken to respond back on this matter.I regret to say that I can not look into this issue until I have another mac on hand to test.I had a mac mini for awhile but I never got an hdmi cable to get display and the guy took it back because he needed it.If this is still unsolved by the next time I have a mac available to test it on I promise I will do just that.I know I had a hard time with this on that MBP I did for a friend but after much trial and error I got it to work.And it was all in the order things were done.It was very specific but I assure you there is a way to have the latest R** version of EZ Drummer 2 and all the expansions and midi packs on mac.I had it all working on Mavericks on a mid 2010 MBP,and it’s still working beautifully for that person.

I can tell you that it took forever,I used a win keygen in wine(possibly multiple different versions of the keygen as well) and I had to type every key in by hand.And I had to install at least 2 expansions manually.(Copying from disc to directory) And they showed up funny until it was updated.But once updated everything works wonderful.

Again I apologize,I really wanted to help everyone and solve this problem but unfortunately without a mac available I’m at a loss at this point.

I solved the problem deactivando and then activating the Network Adapter in Control Panel / Device Manager / Network Adapter, and then connecting it to a network of Internet

When you open the program Ez gave me a different ID when not using the Network Adapter

From here it is just a matter of doing the regular steps with Keygen

Hi All,

I finally figured out what is missing from the installation steps.
When you run the EZD2 installer, the VST component is selected to be installed by default (in grey), there is a leyend saying the VST need to be installed in order to run the standalone app.

So what you need to do, is replace the installed vst plugin with the given EZdrummer.vst, then run the standalone app and follow the steps.
The VST plugin is installed at /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummer.vst

Confirmed it works on 10.9.4 + wine.

hi everyone , in mew here and have a big issue with ezdrummer 2 , it work well as standalone , i deleted the aax file but when i open it in pro tools 10 it ask me again for authorization code , does someone know how to fix that , thanks , im using windows 7 64 bit , and i install both 32 bit and 64 bit version of ezdrummer , but i notice that even i use win 7 64bit its no use install the ezdrummer 64 bit version as pro tools 10 is a 32 bit version , plz if someone knows what to do , help me , thanks

OK, I’m struggling hard to get EZ Drummer 2 authorised. I’m getting pretty stressed about it. I’m on a Mac running Mavericks and use Logix Pro X.

These are the instructions given:
For those having problems with keygen, try this;

1. Start EZDrummer
2. Select Autorize Offline
3. Start Key Generator
4. Select product (EZdrummer 2)
5. Click Patch RSA-1024 Public Key
6. Point to EZdrummer.dll
7. Copy ComputerID and paste to KG
8. Generate Serial #
9. Generate and Create Code/File
10. Type any name
11. Select this file in Authorization screen
12. Done!

I have no issue with opening the Keygen with Winebottler. However, I’m confused about «Patch RSA-1024 Public Key». There is no .dll file that I’m aware of. I’ve «EZdrummer_200_Patched_OSX» into a folder containing 3 files, ezdrummer.component, ezdrummer.vst and ezdrummer.vst — what am I meant to do with them? Are they meant to be moved somewhere? I don’t understand what file I’m supposed to use for generating the authorization code file is, as there’s no ezdrummer.dll.

PLEASE someone help me out with this, I’m so close to having this good to go, I’ve been trying to fix it for so long. I’d be so grateful if anyone could help!

hi guys, I have a similar problem; I have the correct installation, use win 7 64bit, and I installed the EZdrummer 2 32bit working and cracked, but when I start it with pro tools 10 and run the pluggin the EZdrummer 2 asking for the authorization and I see no possible way to fix it, I tried everything. Any solution, please help …. thanks.

hi guys, I have a similar problem; I have the correct installation, use win 7 64bit, and I installed the EZdrummer 2 32bit working and cracked, but when I start it with pro tools 10 and run the pluggin the EZdrummer 2 asking for the authorization and I see no possible way to fix it, I tried everything. Any solution, please help …. thanks.

MAC OSX INSTALLATION PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

Hello you all!

I only registered to help you out you guys.. since internet and its community has done so much for me, I will give back as much as I can.

(WINEapp NECESSARY)

1.Install/Update the software.
2.Copy patched AU/VST/RTAS.
3.Run our keygen on Windows.
4.Run the software and start activation.
5.Select offline activation.
6.Copy ComputerID to the keygen.
7.Generate a Serial Number and an Authorization File.
8.Register and Enjoy!

All those steps are necessary, but the root of the problem is in the understanding of step 2.

You need to open the Keygen in Mac with the help of Wine (not part of the team, but is an excellent app if you have the chance donate whatever it comes from heart, do it) why you need to open the Keygen in your computer?, because you need to patch the .vst and .component files in your computer in order to make the EZ2 accept the auth file.

So when you open the Keygen, in the option after selecting the instrument you want to create a file for, go and patch both files created when you installed EZdrummer, EZdrummer.component and EZdrummer.vst, directory is next:

Component:
MacintoshHD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/EZdrummer.component/Contents/MacOS

VST:
MacintoshHD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummer.vst/Contents/MacOS

After doing that, (you must do both) a legend will appear for each of them at the bottom of your Keygen, saying that you successfully patched freekey, then you must tape your computer ID -> create a keycode -> create auth file -> rename auth file (just name, no extention) and finally you can go, run the EZ drummer in your DAW (I didn’t tried directly on Standalone, choose auth offline, load your auth file.

AND DONE!

It seems there’s a problem getting or generating ttauth with Computer ID Codes starting with GE3DG ….

I’m on the same boat ..
If someone has a solution to that, I’d be willing to learn it.

EDIT: I sfinally solved my problem generating AUTH Code — as explained above , my Comp ID starting with code GE3DG .. generated an error about the code not being accepetd and about Network card not being installed..
The root of problem was that my WMI didnt start obecause of some corrupted files.. I downloaded the program at the following addy …

That utility repaired my WMI and i was finally able to generate Auth Code …

Hi ! When I point to the ezdrummer.dll file in the toontrack folder, the keygen tells me that the file is write protected … so the wollowing steps don’t work. I mean that I generate the authorization file, but the authorization fails.

For those having problems with «Authorization not working» follow these steps. Most likely you have your network cards disabled and have an usb WIFI card.

1.go to your computers device manager.
2.look for your network adapters tab.
3.enable all devices under that tab.
4.follow the instructions as normal in the R2R.txt keygen folder.

[Windows]
1.Install/Update the software.
2.Run our keygen and select a product.
3.Patch VST/RTAS with our keygen.
4.Run the software and start activation.
5.Select offline activation.
6.Copy ComputerID to the keygen. ***You should now have a «new» ID after enabling your network devices.
7.Generate a Serial Number and an Authorization File.
8.Register and Enjoy!

You should be good to go.

After much trial and error I found this worked for me. Hope it helps you.

Hello All-

I am currently using EZDrummer1 32 bit on my Window 7 box. I just purchased EZDrummer2, and want to use the 64 bit version. The installers come from Toontrack with both a 32 and 64 bit installer. However, when I run the 64 bit installer, a little bit into the install I get a message that states something like «A current file called EZDrummer has been detected. Will install EZDrummer2 in C:Program Files(x86)…», which is the 32-bit program path. The installer gives no option to manually select the install path. I have canceled the install until I figure out what to do.

Indeed, my current EZD1 is installed on the 32 bit path: C:Program Files(x86)ToontrackEZDrummer.

My question is, do I need to prevent the install of the 64-bit version on the above (x86) path, or is this just some odd message that everybody gets, and EZD2 will actually install on the 64 bit path «Program Files»? Suggestions welcome!

This is from memory, but I’m pretty sure what you are seeing is ok and you should continue to the next phase of the installer. I have both 32 and 64 bit Ez installed and working. All of the basic program files for BOTH (other than the actual 32 bit and 64 bit dil files) are located in the location you mention. So I would click past that window, and then you should see an option for where you want to place the 64 bit dil file. It will probably say something like «location for 64 bit vst». If there is a browse option on that window, place it where you have your other 64 bit dils. If no option, make sure you write down the default location so you can later point your DAW to it.

I just got a reply from Toontrack support that is in line with your suggestion:

We are sorry for the confusion. The installer is not stating that it will install the 64 bit plugin to the x86 folder. It is stating that it will install EZDrummer’s sounds and MIDI to the existing path in the x86 folder. This is an important distinction.
The EZdrummer folder containing the sounds and MIDI SHOULD go to the x86 folder by default, even with a 64 bit install. The 64 bit plugin however will automatically install to the normal 64 bit program files folder. In short, everything is ok with your installation.

Yeah, I’m doing a clean install of things and the 64 bit Program Files EZ Drummer just has some files in it but all the real guts of the program is in Program Files (x86) so you can just move on.

To EZDrummer2 Users,
I’ve recently installed EZD2 and it will work fine using a shortcut on my desktop. The .exe program is installed:»C:Program FilesToontrackEZdrummerEZdrummer64.exe» I can also copy the EZdrummer folder to other locations and it will still work from the desktop location.
My problem is: Sonar X2 isn’t recognizing EZD2 at all. It still reverts back to the older EZD.
Just installed the update of X2, went to Preferences and reset all VST plugins and resacnned. Even tried to add the directories where I know the shortcut works. NO LUCK. My EZX’s are all in C:Program File (x86)ToontrackEZDrummer.
Any help would be appreciated. Do I need to delete the old EZdrummer completely…what happens to the older songs created with EZdrummer?

Два компьютера — десктоп и ноутбук. Всё одинаковое. Установлены Cubase Elements 9 и EZDrummer 2. Всё одинаково работало на обоих.

В ноутбуке менялся системный диск, пришлось переустанавливать всю систему.

Возникла странная проблема — EZDrummer 2 установился и работает standalone. А Кубейс его не видит вообще. Переустановил одно и другое, дополнительно установил Cubase Pro 10 — та же самая проблема.

Подозреваю, что вопрос решается просто, но ответа пока не нашёл.

@Sergess, проверьте пути поиска плагинов в Кубе. И добавьте папку установки этого плагина.

Все мануалы показывают, как это сделать в обычных версиях Куба, а вот в Elements интерфейс несколько иной и я совсем затупил, не ищется этот самый EZDrummer

Вот! В этом всё дело было — я переустановил EZDrummer с указанием пути «c:program filesVSTplugins» и всё заработало. Спасибо, что надоумили!

For various reasons there seem to be some problems installing Toontrack EZdrummer v2 including libraries and thought it’d be useful to have a thread for discussion.
So please post your problems & solutions here.

So far:
1. Start EZDrummer
2. Select Autorize Offline
3. Start Key Generator
4. Select product (EZdrummer 2)
5. Click Patch RSA-1024 Public Key
6. Point to EZdrummer.dll
7. Copy ComputerID and paste to KG
8. Generate Serial #
9. Generate and Create Code/File
10. Type any name
11. Select this file in Authorization screen
12. Done!

#Error 12 — anyone?
Also «Your library seems damaged. You will need to reinstall the full product before applying this update.»

dios, I had the same problem. Generated code file name was *.ttauth and I couldn’t save it like that, tried to put different names and finaly
deleted all before dot so the file name was .ttauth and it worked for me. Hope it helps you.

Yes , but at the release thread the posts are all over the place in-between «Ahhhh great release» and «links please» and so forth.
This over here sould be a dedicated thread to help people with problems installing EZd 2 *yes*One unfounded silly post
I agree the button could be of some use, like you might try the delete button and just don’t hurt your head more beating that loudspeaker

Here: «patch the Zdrummer.2.v2.0.0 DLL — C:Program FilesVstPluginsToontrack» I found my Ezdrummer.dll created when I installed months ago Ezdrummer 1, so I used this file to install the Ezd2 and when I create the file ( *.ttauth) I called EZD2 (I think is not important but… everything can help)

I used wine/winebottler on OSX Mavericks for the keygen,had a bit of problems with this myself.You generate the.ttauth file pretty much as I’ve seen.

Not sure if I remember correctly this may have been one of the ones that I had installed that had an AAX installed and when I opened Protools it defaulted as the AAX and wouldn’t take the ttauth file.I deleted the aax and it defaulted back to using the .dpm and worked after that. (I think this was the one)

Or are you just trying to reg the standalone?

It most definitely works on Mac at least Mavericks for sure that I know.I got all the expansions working,all the midis loaded,etc.
Had to install 2 expansions manually if I remember right,but all worked afterward.It was some work though and had to type every key by hand

Yeah i’m having trouble registering («authorization failed»).

Also using winebottler. Installed EZ 2 + update (v.2.0.1) in sequence, and using key gen from the update.

I followed all those steps but still isn`t working. I removed AAX file, but probably isn’t that because i`m using Logic Pro X.

Any thoughts? Must be some stupid detail…

I had same issue when installing on Mac,I can’t exactly remember what I did,I may have saved the ttauth in a different location.

I have a Mac Mini here I’m working on. As soon as I get time I’ll install on there and see if I can help any better.

(Wont be until at least tomorrow though,I’m hopping off,been a very long day)

I for one didn’t run into any problems authorizing my EZDrummer 2 v. 2.0.1 or any of the EZX packs (v. 1.5.1 or 1.5.2). I too did as You describe, and no problems. Until yesterday (maybe the day before, didn’t try opening EZD), but yesterday on the 14th of july my version was to be authorized once again. I haven’t installed any other EZX or updates. Well, I fired up the keygen again (Toontrack RSA-1024 KeyGen v.1.2.3) and run the steps again, with following error:

I re-installed it all again, trying both 32 bit and 64 bit version, but same message. Has Toontrack gotten the the better of me, and/or will there be a new version of keygen/crack available soon You guys think? I’m running Windows 7

Gonna be a lil while longer till I can try.
Need an hdmi cable for this mac mini,before I can hook it up.He didn’t bring one or the lil adapter that turns a mac display out to a vga.

@Ken I had a similar issue when I installed,I think I made 4 or 5 until it worked,no harm some just didn’t work.Deleted those ones if they didn’t authorize.

Or I may have misunderstood you.You can’t create a .ttauth? U remove the asterisk? Name it whateveryouwant.ttauth?

I can’t remember if it mattered what location I put it in either. Winebottler makes a few different folders and by default I think it’s the wine folder when you try to save the .ttauth.Or theres another documents folder or something.
Something was misleading.Can’t remember what…

I know now the aax thing was a problem until I deleted it,reading other comments.

I know I got it working though,and I know it took me like 10 times until I got it finally.

I was losing my mind over it,uninstalling reinstalling,double checking with batchmod,etc,lol.

And it was something simple too.

Think I may have tried a couple different versions of keygens too.I think the order was install,patch,delete aax,then authorize.

I’ll give an update soon.

Guys, I just can’t make the keygen run proper in crossover/wine (i’m running osx mavericks) and when i create a key/authorization file in windows it says it`s a wrong file. Also, the second step intrigues me.

MacOSX

EZDrummer2 Crashes on Load

I just installed FL Studio 20.5 build 1142. And I can’t get EZDrummer 2 (EZdrummer plug-in version 2.1.8 (build 21073) [64-bit VST]) to load. I attached the message & the dmp file.I opened a new project and did a replace on the first pattern & selected EZD. Then I get the failure.

I have EZKeys installed and that works fine.

I am running Win 7 64bit/32g ram.
