These are all the known fixes for issues with running Skyrim Together and accessing the launcher. Thanks to a couple of the moderators, helpers, and other Patrons too, we’ve managed to be able to find a fix for all the most occuring issues.

**UI not popping up with RCTRL — Fix

  1. Close the launcher

  2. Go to Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim Special Edition

  3. Delete the following file in the above named directory: v8_context_snapshot.bin

If your UI still won’t show after deleting the snapshot.bin file, make sure to delete leftover files in your Skyrim root directory from ENB’s, and ReShade in particular. Try to disable visual mods too, just in case. This shouldn’t be needed, but some visual mods interfere with the ST UI.

**How to add Skyrim Together Shortcut to Nexus Mod Manager:**

  1. Open Skyrim or Skyrim Special Edition in NMM.

  2. Click on the two gears (Settings) button

  3. Navigate to the Skyrim or Skyrim Special Edition tab, within the Settings window. (Should be the right most tab.)

  4. In the `Custom Launch Command` section, in the `Command:` box add in the location of `Harbor.exe` (include .exe file on end of file location) which may be located in your Skyrim or Skyrim SE folder.

**How to Launch Skyrim Together via Nexus Mod Manager:**

  1. Follow the above steps.

  2. Click the arrow on the right side of the `Launch Skyrim` or `Launch Skyrim SE` button.

  3. Click `Launch Custom Skyrim` or `Launch Custom Skyrim SE`

**How to add Skyrim Together Shortcut to Vortex**

  1. Open Vortex and open either Skyrim or Skyrim SE within Vortex to manage.

  2. Go to the dashboard tab.

  3. Click `Add Tool` on the Game title within dashboard, then select `New…`

  4. Fill in the lines.

Start In: (Folder containing `Harbor.exe`, may be done automatically)

**How to launch Skyrim Together via Vortex**

  1. Go to the Dashboard tab on Skyrim or Skyrim SE.

  2. Click the created Skyrim Together button, located on the Game tile.

NOTE: You have to be `managing` the Game via Vortex to see the created shortcut, `Recently Managed` will not allow you to click it.

How to add/Launch Skyrim together to Mod Organizer 2

  1. On the ‘Run Executables’ button (next to the Run button), click <Edit>

  2. In the window that pops up, add the following fields:

Title: Skyrim Together

Binary: [harbor install folder]Harbor.exe

Start in: [harbor install folder]

Check ‘Use Application’s Icon for shortcuts’ (optional)

3. Click Add and Close

4. To launch, Click on Skyrim Together on the ‘Run Executables’ Button in MO2

**How to add/Launch Skyrim Together via Steam**

  1. Open Steam Library

  2. Click `ADD A GAME` which by default is on the bottom left, under the `GAMES` list.

  3. Click `Add a Non-Steam Game`

  4. On the `Add a Game` window that popups, click browse and navigate to the location of `Harbor.exe` and when selected, press open.

  5. Once the game has been added to Steam, it will appear in the uncategorized section of your library, `GAMES`, you can move it wherever you want with `Set Categories` or `Add to Favorites`

  6. To play via the shortcut, just click on it via library and click `Play`.

NOTE: You can change the settings, Name and picture by right-clicking the shortcut and selecting properties.

Another NOTE: Skyrim Together does not have to be added to Steam to get the Steam overlay in-game.

**How to run Skyrim Together through Steam Link**

  1. Follow the above steps to add Skyrim Together to steam.

  2. Connect to Steam using your Steam Link App or Device.

  3. Play.

Note: While Skyrim itself can be controlled using gamepad controllers, the Skyrim Together UI requires use of keyboard and mouse, as does the Harbor Launcher.

**How to not pause game while tabbing.**

  1. Navigate to `skyrim.ini` within `DocumentsMy GamesSkyrim` or `My GamesSkyrim Special Edition`

  2. Add `bAlwaysActive=1` under `[GENERAL]`

  3. Save and the game will no longer pause when alt-tabbed or unselected.

**Game Not Found/Loader in Wrong Folder — Fix**

First of all, if you’re using oldrim, stop here, you’ll have to use SE for our closed beta since Oldrim isn’t supported yet, as stated in bold text in our closed beta announcement.

  1. Open RegEdit.

  2. Go to `ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWOW6432NodeBethesda Softworks`

  3. If not found Create New Key and name it ‘Skyrim Special Edition’ for SE.

  4. Right click the ‘installed path’ location String and change Value data to location of your game’s executable. Example: C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonSkyrim Special Edition

If that doesn’t work, try this instead:

  1. Open RegEdit.

  2. Go to ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall

  3. If you can not see ‘Steam App 489830’ in the list add it.

  4. Inside Steam App 489830 create a new ‘String Value’ called InstallLocation

  5. Right click the ‘InstallLocation’ location String and change Value data to location of your game’s executable. Example: C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonSkyrim Special Edition

If this still doesn’t work, you’re probably using Oldrim which we said was not working in our Closed Beta reddit post, or you messed the path up in the registery.

**Linking Patreon**

To link your Patreon account to your Skyrim Together account, follow these steps:

  1. Head over to https://oreo.skyrim-together.com/

  2. Log in

  3. Press «Patreon» in the top-right corner of the website.

  4. Press «Allow» on Patreon’s website when you’re asked to share your profile.

  5. Done! Your account is now linked with Patreon and you can now log in on Harbor.

  6. If you still can’t see the golden border like shown in the image below, try logging off and logging back in on our website.

**Patreon Not Linking — Fix**

If your Patreon won’t connect to the Skyrim-Together website, simply re-log on the Skyrim-Together website, and try again. It should work now.

**Mod Console closing out before launching — Fix**

If your launcher opens up the console and then crashes it can come from a few things.

  1. If there are some things about patterns writing in the console, your exe file is not recognized by our mod, which means you either have an unofficial version, an outdated version, or a mod is modifying your game executable. (SE Engine fix does that, remove it.)

  2. If you have never launched SE on your computer before, do that first, launch it once and close it when you reached the main menu.

**Unable to see your friends — Fix**

  1. If the party host has not launched the party, do it with the top left button «LAUNCH PARTY»

  2. Install the same game language for every players. (This issue will be fixed next patch)

  3. If that doesn’t fix it, you probably have a mod changing the cell names, or OpenCities which can cause issues with our mod.

  4. We have also noticed that some routers/programs may partially block the connection to our servers, allowing you to connect but not to see your friends, in this case there is not much we can do, you have to find out yourself what is blocking the connection on your end.

**Launcher opens Steam along with a small window that shows your name and random characters — Fix**

  1. Launch Harbor as admin.

**For other Connection issues — Fix**

  1. Try allowing Skyrim SE and Skyrim SE Launcher into your Firewall, disable it completely if you still can’t get it to work.

**Launcher’s «Unknown Error» — Fix**

  1. Chances are you’re most likely running on a public network, like a university network for example, which is blocking the launcher connection, if not, a software is blocking it.

  2. Find a way around it, a VPN would do that work.

**Crashes while loading due CreationClub issues in the Eastern part of the EU — Fix**

  1. Go to C:UsersYOURUSERNAMEHEREDocumentsMy GamesSkyrim Special Edition

  2. Open SkyrimCustom.ini’ or create if missing.

  3. Add

[Bethesda.net]

bEnablePlatform=0

**Crashing on Windows 7**

2.Right click SkyrimSE.exe and click Properties

3. Go to the Compatibility tab

4. Check the checkbox labelled «Run this program in compatibility mode for:»

5. In the dropdown below the checkbox, select «Windows 7»

6. Make sure your game is running in Admin mode with the checkbox at the bottom

Guys, i’m getting «RVTFiX.nfo was either deleted or not put in directory. Application will terminate now.» error while launching�SkyrimTogether.exe.
The right skyrim .exe�is selected,�Address Library is installed and i’m playing on 1.6.353.0 version. But the more intresting part — my friend have no problem launching it,�even though he did and downloaded everything exactly like me.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I’ve tried to reinstall, launch as administrator, change directories and creating .txt file renaiming it to rvtfix.nfo and placing it inside game/mod folders

Hello ! I have a weird bug that seems like some buffed powerful neck seam. It only happens on male characters for some reason, and only on Skyrim Together, when i launch game with SKSE it doesnt happen.

The problem is when i create a new character — an orc to be precise, its the most «beautiful» example — after I load into game my orc face is white. Like human flesh. I need to reload a save, and then its back to normal — but all males (not a single female) have weird neck seam — their heads are different color then rest of the body (slightly, but visible as hell) — again only when launching via Skyrim Together — when i launch via SKSE males have no neck seam and we are all good. Anyone? Any ideas?

Yup, after clean install (and i mean CLEAN CLAEN inb4 «diD yOu dElEtE tHe FoLdeRs???!?!?») and absolutely no mods besides addres lib and skyrim together, the problem persists in the same way as i explained now.

I’m having this problem as well, but with Northbourne, bald heads and mismatching textures. And if I use only Bijin skin the affected NPCs get a neck seam, the face is using the old vanilla texture it looks like but the body is using Bijin skin. It seems like facegen is somehow handled differently in STR. Or conflicting somehow when it shouldn’t be.

Did you guys change the leveling system? Just reach level 20 and the game is spawning Druager Deathlords for every other enemy in ruins. We have our server set to the lowest difficulty just to manage this. We can’t play anymore.

Q: The STRUI doesn’t appear when I press either Right CTRL or F2

A: First, ensure that you have followed this guide from beginning to end. If that’s the case, it shouldn’t happen in the first place. Check that your Skyrim Together Reborn mod folder, which contains the SkyrimTogehter.exe, is placed at:

For MO2 users:
C:ModdingMO2modsSkyrim Together RebornSkyrimTogetherReborn

C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonSkyrim Special EditionDataSkyrimTogetherReborn

A: If the UI does not load, or the screen is covered with white boxes when pressing right control, exit to the main menu and load your save again. If that does not work, try restarting your game until it works.

A: Try running SkyrimSE in Windowed mode or Windowed Borderless.

A: Try restarting your PC. That has worked for some.

A: If you’re using MO2, make sure the folder C:ModdingMO2overwrite is empty. If not, delete everything inside the folder, and start over.

A: You can try launching the game with skse64_loader.exe, loading your most recent savegame, and then exiting the game. Return to MO2 or VMM, and launch the game using the custom Skyrim Together Reborn launcher; it should now work. If you don’t use SKSE, then try and launch SkyrimSE normally through Steam.

Failed To Load Skyrim Address Library: Causes, And How To Fix

Some players are running into the ‘failed to load Skyrim address library’ error after launching the new Skyrim Together Reborn mod, and it can seem impossible to fix if you don’t know what you’re doing. There’s nothing worse than installing a new Skyrim mod, and then messing up your game because of it, as often it seems hopeless, with no solution in sight. However, we have all the answers for you if you’re running into the ‘failed to load Skyrim address library’ problem, so make sure to carry on reading.

What Causes The Failed To Load Skyrim Address Library Issue?

The main cause of the ‘failed to load Skyrim address library’ problem is selecting the wrong directory after launching the mod for the first time. 

If you followed our guide on how to play Skyrim Together Reborn, you will have reached a point where selecting the SkyrimTogether is executable, the game will ask you to select the actual Skyrim executable file, presumably so that it can use that as a means to play the game. 

However, if you manage to select anything other than that specific file, you will seemingly be stuck in a loop with the ‘failed to load Skyrim address library’ error, with the only two options immediately available to you being to close the application, or visit the library mod page.

How To Fix The Failed To Load Skyrim Address Library Issue

Thankfully, there is a very easy, albeit not obvious way to fix the ‘failed to load Skyrim address library’ issue. All you need to do is hold down the space bar when you double-click on the SkyrimTogther.exe, and it should bring up the selection menu again, allowing you to choose the SkyrimSE.exe correctly this time. 

While the above solution is the most likely fix for you, there are a couple of other things to check if the previous cause and solution does not apply to you, or has not worked.

When downloading the Address Library for SKSE Plugins mod, you need to make sure that it was the All in one (Anniversary Edition) that you chose, as opposed to the All in one (Special Edition), as the latter is incompatible with the mod. The fix for this is just to uninstall the Special Edition, and then reinstall it as the Anniversary version.

If you’ve happened to use a patch downgrader after installing the Skyrim Together Reborn mod, you must reverse this by updating to the latest version of the game, as anything prior to 1.6 will not work.

Finally, if you’ve used Mod Organiser 2 to install both Skyrim Together and the Address Library mod, you’ll need to right-click on Address Library and click file explorer. From there, copy the SKSE folder and paste it into the DATA folder in your Skyrim directory. You used the downgrade patcher, and are running Skyrim Special Edition 1.5. If you did, go to steam, and verify Skyrim’s game files to install the latest version of Special Edition, 1.6.

Wrong game selection

When you launched Skyrim Together for the first time, you did not select SkyrimSE.exe when the selection popped up. You can fix this by going to SkyrimTogether.exe and double clicking it while holding spacebar. This should reopen the selection menu. Select SkyrimSE.exe this time.

Other

If you still get this error, check the path located at the bottom of the error, and verify that address library is actually installed there.

What is Skyrim Together Reborn. The main features and disadvantages of the mod

Skyrim Together Reborn is an improved version of the Skyrim Together mod that we recently talked about. The previous expansion did not sync quests, puzzles, and loot from killed enemies. In Skyrim Together Reborn, many of these issues have been addressed. Today, users can play the game in co-op mode with up to eight people. But along with this addition has a number of disadvantages.

What is Skyrim Together Reborn. The main features and disadvantages of the mod

Mod Features

  • NPCs and Enemies. All characters and enemies are fully synchronized. For several hours in the game, we observed the same animations and loss of health for many monsters.
  • Quests and dialogues. Players can complete any task together with their partners — tasks are automatically synchronized with the server owner. During communication, the text of the selected answer is displayed to all group members in the lower-left corner of the screen.
  • Inventory and items. Users will share trophies from killed enemies, ordinary and enchanted equipment, items in chests, and dungeons.
  • Hero’s death. After death, you do not need to load the last save. The character will appear near the place of death without losing items. It is worth noting that if you attacked the guards in the city and lost the battle, then when you respawn, all charges will be cleared from the hero.
  • The difficulty of the game. The server owner has the right to change the difficulty level using a special command.
  • PvP mode. By default, this mode is disabled, but the creator of the server can also activate it using a console command.

Disadvantages of the mod

Satellites. The developer does not recommend hiring partners — this can lead to various errors.

Change of weather. Now only clear weather is available to all users.

Public servers are unstable. It is reported that various bugs and errors may occur in public game worlds that make it impossible to complete the story campaign.

Which version of the game is suitable for co-op play in Skyrim Together Reborn

You can install the mod for the following versions of the game:

  1. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition (1.6 and up);
  2. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition (1.6.353).

Versions 1.5.97, 1.5.93, and below are not supported! Check the relevance of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim build before installing the modification. If build 1.5.97 or 1.5.93 is available on the PC, then most likely the user has not intentionally updated the Steam version of the game and can do so at any time.

How to install and set up Skyrim Together Reborn

We do not recommend installing the mod manually, as this can lead to numerous errors and crashes. Use the Vortex app.

Register on the nexusmods website. Download Vortex and install it on your PC.

Log in to your account through the nexusmods website in the app. 

Go to the Games section, then add Skyrim Special Edition to your games list.

Install SKSE

First of all, make sure your device has the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE). You can download it from this link.

Pay attention to the version of the game opposite the downloaded file. We recommend downloading SKSE for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition (1.6.353), even if you are using version 1.6 or higher.

Unzip the contents of the archive to the root folder with the game and run the application skse64_loader.exe. It will automatically detect the executable file and expand the script base.

Install Address Library for SKSE Plugins

Follow this link. Depending on the installed version of the game, you must download the address library for SKSE:

  • All in one (Anniversary Edition) — for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition (1.6.353);
  • All in one (Special Edition) — for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition (1.6 and up).

Since you are installing add-ons through the Vortex application, select Mod Manager Download. After a few seconds, the site will redirect the download to the mod manager and automatically download it.

Install Skyrim Together Reborn

Open this link and select Mod Manager Download. As in the previous case, the download will be redirected to Vortex, and the modification will soon become available on the device.

How to launch Skyrim Together Reborn

Now that all the required mods are installed, it remains to follow a few simple steps before launching Skyrim Together Reborn for the first time.

Launch Vortex and go to «Toolbar». Click on the plus sign that says «Add a tool». In the window that opens, click on the folder in the second item «Target» and go to the directory with the Skyrim Together Reborn mod installed.

Select the SkyrimTogether.exe executable and click the Save button.

You can find out the location of the mod as follows:

  1. Launch Vortex and go to the «Mods» section.
  2. Right-click on the installed modification and select «Open in Explorer».
  3. Copy the path to the root folder of the mod.
  4. Paste the path into the explorer window that opens.

Common errors when installing Skyrim Together Reborn. How to fix Failed to load Skyrim Address Library and Wrong game selection

When installing modifications, you may encounter various errors. Below we have collected the current issues at the moment.

Failed to load Skyrim Address Library

The most common error is Failed to load Skyrim Address Library. It occurs in two cases:

  1. The build of the game is different from the version of the SKSE script extender.
  2. The assembly differs from the version of the Address Library for SKSE Plugins mod.

Skyrim Together Reborn does not work with patches below 1.6.x, nor with VR 2.0.12 (1.4.15). There is no point in installing a mod on such assemblies.

Skyrim 1.5

Make sure the assembly downgrade patch is not enabled. To resolve this issue, launch Steam and verify the integrity of the installed files:

  1. Open the library.
  2. Select the game, right-click on it and click «Properties».
  3. Go to the «Local Files» section.
  4. Click on the «Verify Integrity of Game Files» button.

Wrong game selection

This error means that you selected the wrong file during the first launch of the game from Vortex. Fixing it is pretty easy:

  1. Open the root folder with the modification.
  2. Hold down the Spacebar and double-click on the SkyrimTogether.exe file.
  3. In the window that opens, specify the correct SkyrimSE.exe file to start the game.

How to play Skyrim together. How to start a server, invite players or connect with a friend

To play in co-op, you need to follow a few more simple steps. Below we have provided all the necessary information.

How to play on custom servers

  1. Start the game and load the last save.
  2. Click on the «RCtrl» or «F2» keys.

I was able to get past the «Fatal Minhook error» by changing my prefix’s «Windows verison» to Windows 10. Not sure if this works for everyone, however. Also try a newer Proton version or Proton GE.

Unfortunately I later ended up with a «failed to find dll: bink2w64.dll» error when running through Mod Organizer, as shown:

Running SkyrimTogether.exe directly without Mod Organizer opens the game properly, with Skyrim Together working.

I ended up adding SkyrimTogether.exe as a non-steam game, setting its Proton version to be the same as SSE’s, setting my launch options to STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH="/path/to/steamapps/compatdata/489830/" %command%, and using movfs4l.py to load the Mod Organizer modlist instead.

Or I could have used Vortex instead.

Edit: You might also need vcrun2019 but you probably need that for other tools anyway.

**UI not popping up with RCTRL — Fix

  1. Close the launcher

  2. Go to Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim Special Edition

  3. Delete the following file in the above named directory: v8_context_snapshot.bin

If your UI still won’t show after deleting the snapshot.bin file, make sure to delete leftover files in your Skyrim root directory from ENB’s, and ReShade in particular. Try to disable visual mods too, just in case. This shouldn’t be needed, but some visual mods interfere with the ST UI.

**How to add Skyrim Together Shortcut to Nexus Mod Manager:**

  1. Open Skyrim or Skyrim Special Edition in NMM.

  2. Click on the two gears (Settings) button

  3. Navigate to the Skyrim or Skyrim Special Edition tab, within the Settings window. (Should be the right most tab.)

  4. In the `Custom Launch Command` section, in the `Command:` box add in the location of `Harbor.exe` (include .exe file on end of file location) which may be located in your Skyrim or Skyrim SE folder.

**How to Launch Skyrim Together via Nexus Mod Manager:**

  1. Follow the above steps.

  2. Click the arrow on the right side of the `Launch Skyrim` or `Launch Skyrim SE` button.

  3. Click `Launch Custom Skyrim` or `Launch Custom Skyrim SE`

**How to add Skyrim Together Shortcut to Vortex**

  1. Open Vortex and open either Skyrim or Skyrim SE within Vortex to manage.

  2. Go to the dashboard tab.

  3. Click `Add Tool` on the Game title within dashboard, then select `New…`

  4. Fill in the lines.

  1. On the ‘Run Executables’ button (next to the Run button), click <Edit>

  2. In the window that pops up, add the following fields:

Check ‘Use Application’s Icon for shortcuts’ (optional)

3. Click Add and Close

4. To launch, Click on Skyrim Together on the ‘Run Executables’ Button in MO2

**How to add/Launch Skyrim Together via Steam**

  1. Open Steam Library

  2. Click `ADD A GAME` which by default is on the bottom left, under the `GAMES` list.

  3. Click `Add a Non-Steam Game`

  4. On the `Add a Game` window that popups, click browse and navigate to the location of `Harbor.exe` and when selected, press open.

  5. Once the game has been added to Steam, it will appear in the uncategorized section of your library, `GAMES`, you can move it wherever you want with `Set Categories` or `Add to Favorites`

  6. To play via the shortcut, just click on it via library and click `Play`.

NOTE: You can change the settings, Name and picture by right-clicking the shortcut and selecting properties.

Another NOTE: Skyrim Together does not have to be added to Steam to get the Steam overlay in-game.

**How to run Skyrim Together through Steam Link**

  1. Follow the above steps to add Skyrim Together to steam.

  2. Connect to Steam using your Steam Link App or Device.

  3. Play.

Note: While Skyrim itself can be controlled using gamepad controllers, the Skyrim Together UI requires use of keyboard and mouse, as does the Harbor Launcher.

**How to not pause game while tabbing.**

  1. Navigate to `skyrim.ini` within `DocumentsMy GamesSkyrim` or `My GamesSkyrim Special Edition`

  2. Add `bAlwaysActive=1` under `[GENERAL]`

  3. Save and the game will no longer pause when alt-tabbed or unselected.

**Game Not Found/Loader in Wrong Folder — Fix**

First of all, if you’re using oldrim, stop here, you’ll have to use SE for our closed beta since Oldrim isn’t supported yet, as stated in bold text in our closed beta announcement.

  1. Open RegEdit.

  2. Go to `ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWOW6432NodeBethesda Softworks`

  3. If not found Create New Key and name it ‘Skyrim Special Edition’ for SE.

  4. Right click the ‘installed path’ location String and change Value data to location of your game’s executable. Example: C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonSkyrim Special Edition

If that doesn’t work, try this instead:

  1. Open RegEdit.

  2. Go to ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall

  3. If you can not see ‘Steam App 489830’ in the list add it.

  4. Inside Steam App 489830 create a new ‘String Value’ called InstallLocation

  5. Right click the ‘InstallLocation’ location String and change Value data to location of your game’s executable. Example: C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonSkyrim Special Edition

If this still doesn’t work, you’re probably using Oldrim which we said was not working in our Closed Beta reddit post, or you messed the path up in the registery.

**Linking Patreon**

To link your Patreon account to your Skyrim Together account, follow these steps:

  1. Head over to https://oreo.skyrim-together.com/

  2. Log in

  3. Press «Patreon» in the top-right corner of the website.

  4. Press «Allow» on Patreon’s website when you’re asked to share your profile.

  5. Done! Your account is now linked with Patreon and you can now log in on Harbor.

  6. If you still can’t see the golden border like shown in the image below, try logging off and logging back in on our website.

**Patreon Not Linking — Fix**

If your Patreon won’t connect to the Skyrim-Together website, simply re-log on the Skyrim-Together website, and try again. It should work now.

**Mod Console closing out before launching — Fix**

If your launcher opens up the console and then crashes it can come from a few things.

  1. If there are some things about patterns writing in the console, your exe file is not recognized by our mod, which means you either have an unofficial version, an outdated version, or a mod is modifying your game executable. (SE Engine fix does that, remove it.)

  2. If you have never launched SE on your computer before, do that first, launch it once and close it when you reached the main menu.

**Unable to see your friends — Fix**

  1. If the party host has not launched the party, do it with the top left button «LAUNCH PARTY»

  2. Install the same game language for every players. (This issue will be fixed next patch)

  3. If that doesn’t fix it, you probably have a mod changing the cell names, or OpenCities which can cause issues with our mod.

  4. We have also noticed that some routers/programs may partially block the connection to our servers, allowing you to connect but not to see your friends, in this case there is not much we can do, you have to find out yourself what is blocking the connection on your end.

**Launcher opens Steam along with a small window that shows your name and random characters — Fix**

  1. Launch Harbor as admin.

**For other Connection issues — Fix**

  1. Try allowing Skyrim SE and Skyrim SE Launcher into your Firewall, disable it completely if you still can’t get it to work.

**Launcher’s «Unknown Error» — Fix**

  1. Chances are you’re most likely running on a public network, like a university network for example, which is blocking the launcher connection, if not, a software is blocking it.

  2. Find a way around it, a VPN would do that work.

**Crashes while loading due CreationClub issues in the Eastern part of the EU — Fix**

  1. Go to C:UsersYOURUSERNAMEHEREDocumentsMy GamesSkyrim Special Edition

  2. Open SkyrimCustom.ini’ or create if missing.

  3. Add
