As this is my wife’s computer, I have no idea when this started happening, but at random intervals the computer would sometimes display the message «Windows has encountered a critical problem and will restart automatically in one minute. Please save
your work.» Sometimes this error code accompanies the message «Error 1722 RPC Server is unavailable». Other times there is no warning and the system just reboots. At the same time, my wife began having problems with our HP Photosmart C410A printer.
In checking I saw that there was a new driver. When I attempted to install just the basic driver, the installation would stop and indicate that the Windows Firewall must be running. I disabled all of Norton Internet Services setting an tried to activate the
firewall. I would then get this error message: «Windows Firewall can’t change some of your settings. Error code 0x800706d9».
HP suggested I uninstall Norton Internet Security, use the HP Driver Uninstall Utility and try a reinstallation using their complete software package while activation the Windows Firewall. I could get the firewall activated nor could I get the drivers installed.
I then removed all the HP software using their installer. However there still seems to be bits «floating» about. I reinstalled NIS.
TechGuy.org suggested that there might be a BIOS issue and there are two updates available. They also suggested I may have to wipe the drive and do a clean reinstallation of Windows 7. That just didn’t sound right.
In checking the Event Viewer the following error show up repeatedly at random times, which also correspond, usually, with a reboot. Here is a partial copy of the log:

Отключите в BIOS контроль ECC если у вас присутствует такая иначе может выскочить Parity error Перемычку на материнской плате, отвечающую за защиту boot block.

Сбросил CMOS, после чего снова попробовал прошить BIOS программой FOX LiveUpdate. Все получилось. BIOS стал прошиваться. По окончанию загрузки программа FOX LiveUpdate предложила перезагрузить компьютер. Согласился, дал перезагрузку и после этого комп вообще перестал включаться. При включении компьютера кулера начинают крутиться и сразу останавливаются, через пару секунд снова начинают крутиться и останавливаются и так по кругу, пока не выключишь питание. Отсоединял от БП всё кроме материнской платы, такая же проблема…Замыкал на БП зелёный и чёрный провода, вентилятор крутится.

Да это происходит если последовательность версий Bios не соблюдена иногда решает повторный сброс CMOS Clear, если не помогло запуститься в нормальном режиме потребуется прошить программатором, либо через флешку принудительном режиме зажав определённые клавиши для запуска прошивки. Добавлено через 9 минут Добавлено через 14 минут Добавлено через 2 минуты

Прошивку ставили вот эту «BC1F1P08», а стояла вот эта «A92F1025». Название материнской Foxconn H61MX v.2.0

Ctrl+Home и F2 и Alt+F2 точно не смогу сказать? это зависит от материнской платы и что выставлено на загрузку в BIOSe.

Right. I bought a RX-480 gfx card and like so many people who have my Mobo the gfx card is not being recognised until you update the bios.
So I went to foxconn site selected my board and downloaded the newest bios — http://www.foxconnchannel.com/ProductDetail.aspx?T=motherboard&U=en-us0000520
I created a flash USB and moved the files to it. I then booted my pc from the USB and used the AFUDOS program to run the .ROM file which is titled «C29F1P03»
It then read the file and said something,like «Error — Given ROM file does not match existing BIOS»
Now the existing BIOS on my machine is actually from a different series: A48N1S01 August 2011.
I cannot find this for the life of me, and the series under my board is the F1P series (e.g.c29F1P03).
I have heard that you can trick your motherboard into thinking its a different model by forcing a bios on it which I think may of happened.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do? (I dont want to brick the system). Is there a way to force the update BIOS onto my system?
Is it actually possible that my board is different to what It says (it actually says its h67m-s/h67m-v/h67 in my BIOS screen). If so, would force flashing the BIOS from a similar model e.g. the H67M-v work or will it brick the system?

I updated it and… … … It bricked the system! Completely destroyed it, so I had to get a new mobo. Got it and everything works fine but cost me an extra 80 quid.
Thanks for your help though ( and the link does work but FOXCONN website crashes frequently so sometimes you have to wait and it comes back randomly)

I’ve been trying to flash my BIOS because my graphic card asked for it. My mother board model is Aspire M1935 and the current version is P01-A2. I actually flash my BIOS once before through DOS but it was not the newest version ( It was the 2nd on the list because the first one stated «Not for upgrades». I didn’t know what it meant until now so I didn’t want to risk and went for the P01-A2 ). But this new BIOS version (P11.B1) does not support flash through DOS but window. I tried to run the batch file but an error happen. The batch file (command promt) close off on its on immediately right after finish reading BIOS (100%) and said something about «rom size doesn’t match existing bios size». And I also tried the AFUWINGUI but same result. Anyone know please help , Thanks !!!
