I’m running an older PC with i7 3770k, 24GB DDR3, GTX 1080 and 750 W PSU.
Been playing for a while and never had any issues whatsoever before the patch. Now, I can do maybe one and a half (scav) raid before getting the crash. I’ve been to multiple threads from people having the same issues, and I have tried countless ‘fixes’, like:

-performing CPU stress test to see if my CPU is the problem
-performing memtest to see if my memory is the problem
-underclocking / overclocking my GPU
-changing pagefile to automatic / manual (24-32GB)
-using DDU to clean off drivers and update them
-rollback drivers to various older versions
-change XMP/DOCP memory frequency
-cleaning off standby memory with ISLC
-verifying game files and clearing caches
-verifying windows files
-reapplied thermal paste, even though thermal values were well within the norm
-checking/unchecking in-game tarkov settings, like RAM cleaner and High Quality Color

I’ve now come to the conclusion that many others in here have come to, namely that my PC is not the problem, Tarkov is. All I can do now is open a ticket and pray they fix it. I’m watching others have fun with the bosses event on Reserve and Killa on factory, and all I can do is watch. Truly feels bad man.

Try uninstalling the game completely via Steam (or Windows Programs interface), and then verify that all House Party folders and files in the following locations are entirely gone (so, no folders or files having to do with Eek or House Party).

Replace «C:» with the appropriate drive or partition for your system:

C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonHouse Party

C:UsersYOURUSERNAMEHEREDocumentsEek (this will remove Custom Stories and Photos so back them up somewhere if you’d like)

Then update your graphics drivers (you can try a refresh/reinstall of your existing version first, but then try the newest if that fails in the end). Finally, ensure that you are logged on as an Administrator level user, and reinstall House Party.

Try uninstalling the game completely via Steam (or Windows Programs interface), and then verify that all House Party folders and files in the following locations are entirely gone (so, no folders or files having to do with Eek or House Party).

Alright, going to reply here as we discussed.

Looks like you’re running AVG. Can you add exceptions (might be phrased as «white listing» or «exclusions») for your House Party installation directory, the Eek folder in Documents, and the Eek folder in AppData, as well as ‘HouseParty.exe’? So that’s the following folders and their contents, as well as the process below (if you customized your install or Windows Documents linkage/location, you’ll have to replace some info below with what is specific to your system):

Also make sure that your House Party game/files are not still stuck in the C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappsdownloading folder for some reason. Seen this once or twice.

Exclude/Exceptions for these folders and ALL their contents:
C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonHouse Party
C:UsersYOUR USER NAMEDocumentsEek
C:UsersYOUR USER NAMEAppDataLocalLowEek

And the process itself needs an exclusion:
C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonHouse PartyHouseParty.exe

If you’re running any other active anti-spyware, anti-virus, or anti-ransomware programs, make sure those ALSO have exceptions/exclusions for the above folders and the process.

After this, go back into the Steam directory mentioned above, and right click HouseParty.exe and Run as Administrator.

THEN, go into the Steam installation directory, and copy the HouseParty_Data folder, HouseParty .exe file, and the UnityPlayer .dll file, and paste those onto your Desktop together. Try to run House Party via Steam, and if that fails, try to run the House Party .exe file you just copied to your desktop as an Administrator. If both those fail and you’ve done all of the other steps I’ve listed here and in previous posts, send me new logs so I can see if the collected info has changed at all, regardless of how the error is worded.

Did you try installing the censorship patch at any time yet, and if so, where did you put the .txt file?

Can you right click on the UnityPlayer .dll file and go to ‘Security’ and send me information on the permission levels for each type shown (your account, application packages, etc.)?

I’ll have to look at this again in your logs to see if this info is provided, but, are you running all of this off of one drive/partition in your system?

I am currently working on the uninstall/reinsall but wanted to answer your other questions. I haven’t tried the censorship patch at any time, and the UnityPlayer has everything checked as allowed.

Just tried after reinstalling and still got a crash. I;m emailing you the logs

Can’t evan start and nothing I’ve tried seems to work. My processor is an Intel Core i3-4130 3.4GHz, 6 GB RAM, 64-bit, Windows 10, and an Intel HD Graphics 4400 and the game dosen’t even load up, just instant crash. It does get by the wall and I verified the game files.

I contacted Eek! games and they asked for the crash files/text documents, but they haven’t contacted me back since then. So far this has been the only game I’ve had trouble playing for some reason. the crash files pretty much stat that the UnityPlayer.dll failed. I have been through the troubleshooter thats on here, but it dosen’t help.

Pretty sure I was forwarded those. You should have gotten a second e-mail by now requesting additional logs. The one you sent unfortunately, while it is the one that pops up after a crash, is not the best one.

In terms of why this game is the only one you have issues with, it could simply be something specific to the Unity engine, or the version we build with, or as always, we could just suck. Can’t tell without going through logs and troubleshooting though.

house party unity error 2018.4.28f1_a2d4f7149a4 When trying load a game or play a new game.
Game starts perfectly fine with menu but crashes in loading with this pop up message of unity error 2018.4.28f1_a2d4f7149a4.
Game has worked before and also reinstalled multiple times.

I got the game working by going into beta option and selecting 0.17.3 and its loads into my save files and even new game.
I guess the latest update (0.18 and above) is not stable/not working for me and i play on laptop without dedicated GPU and only intel HD 520 (i3 6th gen with 12 gigs of ram)
the game works fine if i downgrade to 0.17.3 beta and below but above 0.17.3 just crashes while loading (unity error 2018.4.28f1_a2d4f7149a4).
I do have a gaming rig but due to some issues i will be not able to access it that’s why i am forced to play on intel laptop.
BTW sorry i couldn’t figure out how to use pastebin so i will just paste my output log down as a new comment if that works. and thank you for taking the time

1) Does this happen every time you try to start the game?

2) When starting the game, but before hitting PLAY on the House Party launcher, have you tried different graphics settings (for example, «Simple»)?

3) Are you allowing the game to be ran using your NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M? You need to right click on your desktop and enter the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to Manage 3D Settings, and ensure that the GPU being defaulted to is your NVIDIA one, NOT the Intel HD. Also ensure that the power settings are set for Prefer Maximum Performance, NOT «Optimal Power» or something similar.
3a) Are you using any custom resolution or scaling/aspect ratio settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel? If so, try setting them back to defaults or selecting another setting.

4) Have you tried uninstalling the game (in Steam Library AND via Windows’ Programs/Features interface) and then reinstalling it?

6) Ensure your system drivers (especially video drivers for the NVIDIA card) are fully updated to the latest version.

well all my nividia seting are as you write down drives are up to date too so only think I think of is antivirus but I only have the windows defender I dont think that will crash a game of so is there any setings or way to make aceptions in this Defender for the House party ??

This screen should cover it. I have not had any issues with Windows Defender though.

What about the details for questions (1), (2), and (4) from above?

I also notice that you keep the Steam Overlay enabled. Please disable this entirely in your Steam settings and try running the game again.

The error you are getting is rather vague. the stack trace (basically, what’s going on at a given moment in your system’s memory) simply states that an invalid memory address is being accessed, but doesn’t call out anything that can be tied back to House Party. Usually when an issue is related to House Party specifically, there is information in both the error log and output_log that can be cross-referenced against one another, clearly identifying us as baddy bad bads.

sorry for not ansvering erlier I just play other games now but one think I dont know in 2 option you mention that I shut try simple graphic seting how I do that thrue Nividia control panel?? because the geme dont have any loncher that alows setting.
sorry for not ansvering erlier I just play other games now but one think I dont know in 2 option you mention that I shut try simple graphic seting how I do that thrue Nividia control panel?? because the geme dont have any loncher that alows setting.

I never get that window I normaly right click on game in library and the press play such a option never came

Alright, so there are a few steps that I’m missing info on, or that your logs can’t really attest to:

1) Have you tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it?
2) In the NVIDIA control panel, under the sections that make up the «Display» category, restore each to defaults.
3) What devices do you have plugged into the PC?
4) Are you using English as your keyboard and/or system language?

In your DXDIAG, I also noticed a number of errors that appear related to Windows Store, Windows Update, and general system problems. So it’s possible that some other corruption on your computer is conflicting with the core Unity Engine and its ability to open the launcher/standalone player window.

Unity error 2018.4.28f1_9270cea7d51e crashes game on startup I need help

So this is by no means my first post about this, I have tried tirelessly on unity forums, tarkov forums and support as well as here now to get this sorted. When I boot up tarkov it quits me out usually straight away but sometimes in the initial loading screen with the man holding the AK rifle and I get unity error:

I have a long list of the steps I have done to try and resolve this issue I will attach my logs also at the bottom:

  • I have tried different driver versions.

  • I have tried «run as admin» on both launcher and game

  • I have tried «disable full screen optimisations»

  • I have tried reinstalling

  • I have tried verifying

  • I have tried deleting cache

  • I have tried logging out and back in on launcher

  • I have tried «running in compatibility mode»

  • I have whitelisted the games folders in antivirus and firewall and turned antivirus off

  • I am completely updated on drivers, windows updates, directx, c++ redistributables and whatever else id need to be.

  • troubleshooted components in my brothers computer

  • Used my brothers computer to file share over local network to download his files into my game directory (his copy is confirmed working)

  • turned off paging file

  • increase paging file to 9GB on 5 drives

  • Increased paging file to 32GB on all 5 drives

  • Increased paging file to 9GB and 32GB on just C drive

  • Turned off XMP

  • Dialed down ram from 3200mhz to 3000mhz

  • Dialed down ram from 3000mhz to 2133 mhz with default timings

  • Changed ram into other slots on pc and repeated the last 2 steps

  • I have now tried moving to a second drive which didn’t work

  • fiddling with Nvidia performance settings

  • Installing game from a known working copy with USB stick

  • I have installed all of microsoft’s framework stuff including dev packages

  • I just did 15 passes on memory checker (windows built in one) wich cache on on the extended version, and guess what, my ram isnt to fault

Twelve Minutes PC players are reporting that the game is crashing to desktop, crashing at startup, or crashes with Error Code 51 or Unity 2019.4.28f1_1381962e9d08 error. Here is how to fix the Twelve Minutes crash on PC.

Before we delve into specific fixes let’s try some general ones. If you are using any third-party tools or software like MSI Afterburner, RGB Software, or any other third-party tool, then disable it and the game will stop crashing.

Crash Fix

PC players facing the game issue where Twelve Minutes crashes at launch, your Anti-virus might be blocking the 12m.exe which is the game’s executable. This is a false positive, allow this file to run on your PC or exclude the game’s install folder from the anti-virus. After that, verify game files and the issue will be fixed.

For those of you facing the crash issue mid-game, your GPU could be the culprit. First, try to update or reinstall the GPU driver and do a clean installation. If this doesn’t fix the issue then either your GPU is overclocked or isn’t handling the game’s load really well.

In case the GPU is overclocked, revert it to its default GPU clock. If the GPU isn’t overclocked, then use MSI Afterburner and reduce the GPU clock by 100 MHz or try to lower the graphics settings.

In case you don’t want to mess with the GPU clock, then cap the game’s Max FPS. Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select Twelve Minutes. Enable “Max FPS Limit” and set the value. If you are targeting 60 FPS then cap the game at 30 FPS. However, if you are targeting unlocked FPS, cap the game to 60 FPS. This will fix the Twelve Minutes in-game crash.

Error Code 51 Fix

Some Twelve Minutes PC players are experiencing Error Code 51 and are unable to play the game. This error is occurring if players have installed F-Secure on their system. Players just have to disable DeepGuard in the F-Secure settings and the error will be fixed.

If you haven’t installed F-secure then your anti-virus/Windows Security might be the cause of it. Exclude Twelve Minutes’s folder from the anti-virus and then verify game files. This will fix Error Code 51.

Twelve Minutes – Unity 2019.4.28f1_1381962e9d08 Fix

Twelve Minutes PC players are reporting that they are experiencing Unity 2019.4.28f1_1381962e9d08 error. This error could be occurring due to any in-game overlay you are using like Steam overlay or Geforce Experience overlay. Diable any in-game overlay you are using and the Unity crash will be fixed.

Another reason behind the Twelve Minutes Unity crash could be your RAM. If you have overclocked your RAM or it’s high speed by default, it could be causing the error.
