Произошла ошибка с1 2741 4

If you’re getting error C1-2741-4 on your PlayStation Vita, follow the troubleshooting instructions listed in this article to fix it. We’ll also explain you what’s the root-cause for this error code.

Fixing error C1-2741-4: Memory card or PS Vita card error

First things first, restart the console. Sometimes this simple action may fix the problem allowing you resume your gaming session within minutes.

This error is often triggered by memory card issues. So, turn off your device again and this time try to remove and then reinsert the card. Also, if it’s possible, blow out the slot using compressed air to make sure there are no dust particles that could interfere with card reading.

⇒ Important! If you remove the memory card while the console/game is still on, this will mess up save data.

If nothing worked, you may have to format your card in Safe Mode. Turn the console off. Now hold down the Power button, PS button and Right Shoulder button for 5 seconds. Press and hold down these three buttons simultaneously until the console boots in Safe Mode. Then select the option Format Memory Card.

If formatting your card didn’t work either, this could mean your memory card is faulty, so you need a new one.

There you go, we hope these suggestions were helpful to you.

⇒ Note: Sony discontinued Vita back in 2019. While this good old console may still carry dear memories for you, maybe it’s time to consider going for an upgrade. As always, discontinued devices and services are more prone to technical problems.

The PlayStation Vita is a handheld video game console developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released in Japan on December 17, 2011, North America and Europe on February 22, 2012, and Australia on April 5, 2012.

The c1-2741-4 henkaku is a problem that has been present for a while. This error can be fixed by installing the PlayStation Vita update 1.80 which is available on Sony’s website.

PSVita error C1-2741-4 fix

If you’re having problems with issue C1-2741-4 on your PlayStation Vita, try the troubleshooting steps in this article. We’ll also explain why this error code exists in the first place.

Error C1-2741-4: Error with memory card or PS Vita card

First and foremost, reboot the console. This easy step may sometimes resolve the issue, enabling you to continue your gaming experience within minutes.

Memory card problems are a common cause of this message. So, restart your device and attempt to remove and then reinsert the card this time. Also, if feasible, use compressed air to blow out the slot to ensure there are no dust particles that may interfere with card reading.

It’s crucial! If you remove the memory card while the console/game is still turned on, your save data will be messed up.

If nothing else works, try formatting your card in Safe Mode. Turn off the console. Now press and hold the Power, PS, and Right Shoulder buttons for 5 seconds. Hold down these three buttons at the same time until the console enters Safe Mode. Then choose Format Memory Card from the drop-down menu.

If formatting your card didn’t work, it’s possible your memory card is defective, and you’ll need to replace it.

That’s all we have for now; we hope you found these ideas useful.

Note that Sony discontinued the Vita in 2019. While this nice old console may still have fond memories for you, it may be time to consider upgrading. Discontinued gadgets and services, like usual, are more prone to technical issues.

The ps vita 2741 is a PlayStation Vita error code. This error can be caused by a number of different things. Sony has released a troubleshooting guide for the issue.

Hi, this is my first post and I’d like to point out that this is my first experience with any kind of homebrew on any device. I honestly don’t know what I’m doing and some help on these issues would be greatly appreciated!

I’m not really good with computers so I’ve been following a certain series of guides on youtube by RetroGameCorps on how to do homebrew on the vita. The first video dealt with installing h-encore, enso and vitashell and that went along smoothly. When moving on to the second video on the series (I’ll put a link to it below), things got a little messy.

Here it is:

The video is about doing the microSD card hack using the YAMT method. I followed every step on the video and downloaded the YAMT installer onto my vita. After that I went with the instructions to mess with the storage devices section in settings to «TexFAT format GC-SD’s storage.» Now the video was telling me to open up vita shell and copy all the files from a folder named ux0 to one called uma0. I tried to do this and i kept getting errors. None of the files would copy even when I tried to copy them one by one. The only one that did was a folder titled «app.»

I checked the contents and it had different stuff in it than another folder named «app» in ux0. So after a few more error messages, I deleted the «app» folder from uma0 but when I checked back in ux0 to retry copying the files, I saw that the whole ux0 was empty. At this point, I decided to close vitashell and open it again but I couldn’t. The error message (C1-2741-4) showed up. I restarted my vita a couple of times and the same problem still exists. I tried to redownload vitashell but it won’t let me saying that another error occurred.

I was really confused and I didn’t know what to do so I tried to delete vitashell and it wouldn’t let me do that with the error message (C1-2741-4) showing up again and again. After leaving my vita on for a while, a message popped up saying that my memory card had been ejected even though it hadn’t and that the console needed to restart. I restarted it and when I tried to open up vitashell again, it told me that the data in vitashell had been corrupted and that if I wanted to continue I had to delete everything and start over from scratch. I clicked yes and surprise surprise, it led me back to the (C1-2741-4) error message again. So I closed vitashell and I tried to open up all the other homebrew apps I installed to see if I could do something from there and none of them worked.

I had h-encore, enso, vitashell, and YAMT installer and none of them would open and none of them could be deleted with the same error message (C1-2741-4) showing up each and every time. Can someone help me with what I should do next? Is my memory card done for? I don’t want to give up on the whole vita homebrew thing yet and I’d love to give things another go but I just don’t know what to do at this point.

I should probably add that the «app» folder that showed up in uma0 after my attempts at copying the other folders wasn’t a successful copy. It just showed up in uma0 after each «error can’t copy» message I got, that’s why I thought to delete it.

I tried following the steps you just said, but when I tried to format the memory card the error message (C4-10278-8) popped up saying that the formatting failed and restarted my system anyway. When I checked it everything was still where it was. Does this mean my vita is bricked??

@BlasterBlaster ,turn off the PS Vita, turn it back on by holding the power button to put the PS Vita in safe mode, choose rebuild database and then try to format everything again.

@BlasterBlaster ,turn off the PS Vita, turn it back on by holding the power button to put the PS Vita in safe mode, choose rebuild database and then try to format everything again.

Okay! so after i did the rebuild database thing, i managed to get rid of all the homebrew apps. So, h-encore, vitashell, YAMT-installer, and enso is all gone from the menu. But when I booted up the vita, the enso logo still shows up.

I deleted a game app I had because the logo on the app turned white and I tried to see if the vita would re-download the game when I entered the cartridge. It didn’t work and it said that the memory card was removed and restarted itself. When it restarted, I tried to do the format memory card again and was met with the same error message (C4-10278-8) and every time I open up my vita I’m met with an option that says that I need to format the memory card in order to be able to continue, but every time I chose to format, I’m met with the same error message as before. So I’m guessing its still not over yet?

@BlasterBlaster ,I still don’t understand if you want to format the internal memory or the external card? Were you able to reset the system to settings?

Sorry but I honestly dont know what I want to format? Originally I just wanted to get rid of the homebrew apps on my vita, but now I just want to stop the error messages from showing up. If it helps, basically what I want to do is to get my vita to a state where its basically the way it would be if I hadn’t done anything to it in the first place, so like get it back to its normal state. I haven’t tried to select the «restore this system» option in settings yet though, should I do that?

Again, if it helps what I’ve done so far is press the R+PS Button+On button when turning my vita on, and selecting «rebuild database.» After that I tried to «format internal memory» which the vita doesn’t let me do at all with the error message showing up. If that’s what you meant when you said «reset system to settings» then I guess I wasn’t able to do that? Sorry if I’m not explaining myself very clearly, I’m still very new to this whole thing.

okay I’m going to try that and update you on how it goes. I just wanted to also add that this was the screen that pops up every time I turn on my vita. When I choose to format, it then tells me that I can’t format. But again, I’m going to try what you said and I’ll let you know how it goes.

Okay so I did the system restore and the error message (C4-10278-8) still shows up when I try to format the memory card. I honestly don’t know what else to do. Does this mean I need to get a new memory card?

@BlasterBlaster ,from the error it would seem that the sd card is dead, you should change it with a new one.
Out of curiosity, what brand is it and how much space did it have?
This happens when you buy cheap sdcards and from untrustworthy sites.

Is it the sd card or the 8GB sony memory card that’s required to run the vita that’s dead? (I have a vita 1000) You might be right though, I bought a SanDisk 128GB for really cheap from a suspicious seller so that might be part of the problem, but the vita was still giving me error messages after I took it out so thats what made me think that the sony memory card might’ve been screwed instead of the sd card.

Yeah I’ve been seeing people talk about how trash they are in a few forums so I don’t doubt it. I guess the best thing for me to do now is to replace both the sd card and the memory card? I just hope my vita is still safe to use in the future, I’m scared I might’ve ruined it beyond hope. I mean the last thing I want is to spend money on a new sd card and memory card only to know that the console itself is screwed

@BlasterBlaster ,if the PS Vita turns on and you manage to go into Safe Mode(hold power for 30 seconds),it is not bricked you have just messed up the memories and now you need new ones to restore it since you have a PS Vita Fat (1000).

It happened lately, every other time I turn on my vita and launch a game, I always get error C1-2741-4, when it happens, I turn it completely off and turn on again, then the games launches fine, but then I turn it completely off and turn on again, the same error occurs, so it just keeps on going in a sequence like that, does anyone know what is going on? I am running on 3.60 henkaku enso.
    Thanks.

even if I disable the plugins, still the same problem, I am beginning to wonder if my sony 32gb vita memory card is going bad, I tried to format it and I get an error (C4-10278-8)» could not format, and many times when I put the vita on standby and turn it on again, it tells me that the memory card has been removed but I never touched it

Sony’s PS Vita memory cards quality is deemed to be bad (even when the PS Vita wasn’t hacked, I saw a lot of forum topics about it).
Do you have the same problem if you rely on your console internal memory (no memory card inserted) or a SD2Vita adapter?

It is, as long as you don’t update the firmware on the Vita.

So far so good, no error at all with just my internal memory card; I took my 32gb out and did a full system restore and then reinstall henkaku enso and some games, no error at all after I turn off and on.
What I am afraid of now is to reinsert my 32gb and let it move the files from the internal memory card to the 32gb lol, just afraid that error would show up again, but I suspect that my 32gb memory card may not be bad, maybe it has something to do with doing a full system restore that fixed the problem?

    • #9

Backup the contents on the memory card and reinsert it on the Vita afterwards, if the error pops again you know what is causing it.

And anyway, you can restore the Vita again to overcome it.

RIP my 64GB memory card (Error C1-2741-4).

Haven’t touched my Vita for about a year because of life, other games. Saw Utawarerumono on sale so I grabbed it and got my Vita to download. Started getting this error whenever I tried to do anything (deleted old games, start up games, etc.).

I’ve formatted the card but it looks like it’s kaput. RIP 64GB card. And also I guess I just threw $30 away for a game I can’t download and play.

Thanks for your wonderful proprietary tech, Sony!

      The story so far…

      http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/620272-playstation-vita/74223732

Basically my 64 GB Vita memory card crashed again loading Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd, forcing me to reformat (though apparently I could’ve just rebuilt the database several times to get the lost games back).

Now I’m putting all games 900 MB or over onto my 64 GB card. I tried starting Persona 4 Golden and got error C1-2741-4 every time. Powering off and powering on again didn’t fix it. So I played a bit of WipEout 2048 which I know saves pretty frequently and then P4G was working again.
